My goal is to help others help themselves to become the person they want to be. I’m very open-minded, non-judgmental, and caring. I specialize in DBT, CBT, ACT and trauma-focused evidenced based practices. Although I believe in an eclectic approach, and meeting my client where they're at. I want to create a safe space, that's non-judgmental for our work together. My passions are working with individuals struggling with depression, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, women's issues such as postpartum/perinatal, and advocating for those who are feeling stuck in abusive relationships of any kind.
I tend to utilize humor as well. I find it to be a very healing coping skill. My biggest thing is focusing on the small things as well. I believe society forces us to look at the big things and if those don't happen right away, we give up really easily, due to instant gratification. We're all searching for that next big thing, when that small thing is right there in front of us and is just as important.
I am a Mental Health and Addiction therapist licensed in Ohio , Michigan and South Carolina with over 15 years of experience . I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, self harm and family counseling. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I have worked with adolescents, those in addiction, and adults.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in humor in treatment as well. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and dialectal behavioral. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My hours are 8 am to 2pm Monday through Friday . I have different hours for sessions and those include nights and weekends. Please visit my schedule. I have times and days blocked out for those who need special times like early morning, evenings and weekends. Please ask so I can open an appointment. I am very accommodating to scheduling. My schedule looks full but many times have been blocked to meet the needs of clients. Please ask.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
In therapy with me, there’s no judgment, no fluff, and no “one-size-fits-all” solutions. I combine Brainspotting, practical tools, and direct conversation to help you manage today’s struggles while healing the past. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing for over 10 years. I graduated from Indiana University with my Masters in 2013. I work with my clients on addressing their individual needs as well as equipping them with the tools (skills) they need to be successful. I am a licensed therapist with 8 years experience supporting individuals with navigating the day-to-day and life transitions in the midst of experiencing anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I utilize talk therapy and operate from a person-centered approach to help form a trusting relationship where you feel safe and comfortable opening up. I like to consider my approach to therapy eclectic. Each person has different needs and what works for one does not work for all. I like to be creative with each of my clients and find the treatment modality that will work best for them and their situation. I personally have struggled with my own anxiety and panic attacks since I was a child. This is what led me to want to be a therapist to help others.

Hi, I’m Raven. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor in Ohio. I work with teens and adults, especially college students and young adults, who are dealing with anxiety, ADHD-related challenges, perfectionism, and the pressure to keep it all together.
These concerns are personal to me, too. I’ve experienced anxiety, ADHD, and perfectionism, and I know what it’s like to place high expectations on yourself, work hard to do well, and still question whether you’re good enough. I also know what it’s like to struggle on the inside while keeping it together on the outside, so other people don’t realize how much you’re carrying.
Your experience may look different from mine, and I want to get to know your story. Maybe you replay conversations, feel overwhelmed by everyday tasks, or have a hard time giving yourself credit for anything. Maybe you’re tired of being so hard on yourself but aren’t sure how to stop.
My style is warm, supportive, and honest. I’ll listen, help you make sense of what’s going on, and gently challenge you when it could help. Together, we’ll find ways to manage what feels difficult, build confidence, and make changes that fit your life.
You don’t have to impress me or have the right words. Come as you are—we’ll figure out where to start together.
I would love to take this next step in your journey with you and support and encourage you along the way!

As a trauma therapist with years of experience, I am deeply invested in each client's healing journey. I pride myself on being personable and approachable, creating a safe and supportive environment for you. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you may be wondering what our work together would actually look like. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, build practical skills, and work toward a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a primary approach. DBT is a skills-based, evidence-informed therapy that can help with managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, tolerating difficult situations, and responding to yourself and others with greater awareness and effectiveness.
Depending on your goals, we may focus on any or all of the following:
• Managing strong or overwhelming emotions
• Building healthier relationships and boundaries
• Increasing mindfulness and self-awareness
• Tolerating distress without making situations worse
• Strengthening self-compassion
• Building a life aligned with your values
Therapy works best when we approach it as a team. I’ll bring clinical knowledge, structure, support, and honest feedback; you bring your experiences, goals, questions, and willingness to practice new approaches. You can expect me to encourage and challenge you, when appropriate, and help you make sense of what you are experiencing. There may be times when therapy feels rough, particularly when we are looking at patterns you have used for a long time. We'll work through those moments together rather than expecting you to navigate them alone.
You will also have opportunities to practice skills between sessions. The goal isn't just talking about what is happening in your life—it's to help you develop tools you can use in your life.
The hope is over time, you leave therapy with a greater understanding of yourself, confidence in your ability to handle difficulties, and a sense that you can build a life worth living.

Do you feel utterly lost, stuck or even misunderstood? Do you feel like you know what to do but don't have the will-power or tools to execute it?
I help marginalized individuals identify how to show up as their most authentic selves and get the life they deserve. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness, yoga and art to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself.
Whether you're dealing with relationship issues, racism, transphobia or addiction, I'm here to help and comfort. Seeking therapy can feel unnerving but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal, grow, try on new perspectivesand just BE. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together and get you to the next level of your healing journey!
Hello! I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and transitioned to private practice in February of 2020. Throughout my career, I worked closely with the Lucas County Juvenile Court and other community mental health agencies, assessing, diagnosing and treating a variety of emotional and behavioral issues. I have been privileged to have worked with adults, adolescents and children as they have navigated through various traumas and other life challenges.
My therapeutic focus is based on assisting my clients by finding and maintaining a healthy Mind/Body/Spirit healing and balance. This involves using appropriate therapeutic interventions based on diagnosis to stabilize symptoms and use of coping strategies and self-care to maintain and thrive!
