I’m a licensed psychotherapist with a history of helping Veterans, First Responders, and individuals seeking meaning and purpose in their lives. In my practice, I integrate Franklian Logotherapy, CBT, and mind-body approaches to provide personalized care that emphasizes resilience and holistic wellness. Drawing from my background as a military Veteran and my clinical experience, I strive to create a compassionate and empowering space where clients can navigate challenges, build strength, and achieve their personal goals. My goal is to help you find balance, purpose, and fulfillment in every area of your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, clients can expect a safe, welcoming space to share their story and what brought them to therapy. My priority is to truly listen and understand your unique experiences, challenges, and hopes for the future. Together, we’ll begin to explore what you want to achieve through therapy and start developing clear, personalized goals for our work together. This session is an opportunity for you to feel heard, supported, and empowered as we set the foundation for your therapeutic journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strength as a provider lies in my ability to embrace and navigate the tension between life’s extremes. I see the best life as one that exists in the balance—between discipline and rest, strength and vulnerability, effort and reflection. Personally, I live this out by training intensely in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and endurance running while also prioritizing mindfulness, philosophy, and prayer. In therapy, I bring this philosophy to my work by empathically walking alongside clients in their struggles, diving deep into the challenges they face, while also incorporating humor and lightness where it’s needed. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is both compassionate and empowering, helping clients find their own balance and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve Veterans, First Responders, and individuals who are navigating challenges related to trauma, stress, or a sense of disconnection. I also specialize in working with those seeking to explore purpose and meaning in their lives, particularly through life transitions or periods of uncertainty. My approach is grounded in compassion, understanding, and evidence-based practices such as Franklian Logotherapy, CBT, and mind-body techniques. I work well with clients ready to engage in self-discovery, build resilience, and create a path toward greater fulfillment and balance.

My treatment methods

Experiential Therapy

In my practice, I integrate existential therapy through the lens of Franklian Logotherapy, which I have been studying extensively under the guidance of a mentor through the Viktor Frankl Institute for several years. This approach focuses on helping clients uncover and embrace meaning and purpose in their lives, even amidst challenges or suffering. I guide my clients toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their unique potential by exploring fundamental questions about existence, freedom, responsibility, and personal values. Logotherapy emphasizes the pursuit of meaning as a central component of well-being, and I strive to create a compassionate and empowering space where my clients can explore this journey.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress or problematic behaviors. Together, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions, empowering clients to develop healthier coping strategies and more balanced ways of thinking. My approach to CBT is collaborative and tailored to each individual, ensuring that the techniques and interventions align with their unique goals and circumstances. By breaking down complex issues into manageable steps, clients gain the tools they need to make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

Mind-body approach

In my practice, I take a mind-body approach to support holistic healing and well-being. I believe that mental and physical health are deeply interconnected, and addressing both is essential for meaningful growth. This approach involves exploring how emotions, thoughts, and stress manifest in the body, and incorporating techniques such as mindfulness, relaxation exercises, and body awareness to promote self-regulation and balance. By helping clients connect with their physical sensations and inner experiences, I guide them toward greater self-awareness and empowerment. This integrative perspective allows us to address challenges more comprehensively, fostering resilience and overall wellness.
