As a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) based in Columbus, Ohio, with years of clinical experience, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating the lasting impact of trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and life transitions. My work is grounded in empathy and a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological challenges people face across diverse personal and professional backgrounds. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree from THE Ohio State University. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adults from all walks of life who are seeking to manage overwhelming emotions, heal from past experiences, and cultivate resilience. In our work together, I offer a safe, confidential space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered. Whether you're facing burnout, anxiety, or navigating a major life change, I meet you where you are and support your journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll begin with a brief introduction, then dive into the challenges you’re currently facing. I understand that life can bring complex emotional and mental stressors, and my goal is to create a plan that’s tailored specifically to your needs. I take a straightforward, collaborative approach to therapy. Using an integrative framework, we’ll draw from the most effective tools and strategies to support your healing and growth. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, trauma, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, I’m here to help you find real, practical solutions. Together, we’ll work toward building resilience and helping you feel more supported, grounded, and empowered to move forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength as a therapist lies in my ability to meet people where they are—especially during times of stress, overwhelm, or emotional difficulty. I’m committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore the mental and emotional challenges you're facing, without fear of shame or pressure. My approach is both empathetic and results-oriented. I focus on helping you develop practical coping strategies that can be applied in your daily life, offering real support for whatever you’re navigating—whether that’s anxiety, burnout, trauma, or life transitions. My goal is to help you build resilience, restore balance, and feel more in control, so you can move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I truly enjoy working with individuals who are just beginning their healing journey. Many of my clients come to me motivated to feel better but unsure of where to start or how to move forward. It's completely normal to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—especially when life’s demands start to pile up. In these moments, I’m here to offer the support and guidance you need to build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and make sense of the challenges you're facing. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, or a major life transition, we’ll work together to equip you with the tools necessary for meaningful progress. My goal is to help you regain balance, feel more in control, and reconnect with a sense of empowerment in both your personal and professional life.
