Hi! I'm Holly and I've been a mental health therapist for 16 years. I have experience working with those in unhealthy, toxic, or even abusive relationships. I have extensive experience working with veterans and their families, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I also have experience working with teens and women with self esteem issues and those who struggle with self injurious type behaviors or thoughts.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session we will need to do an intake which typically does have alot of questions but it is all about getting to know you, your goals and expectations for therapy and helping me to learn about you and your unique journey that has brought you to therapy.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have had so many of my clients tell me that I make them feel comfortable like no other therapist has ever done. That I am the first one they felt was actually listening and cared. As sad as that is, I always tell them I'm glad they finally found someone they felt they could "click" with.

I have worked extensively with veterans and their partners for the past 11 years. I also have worked with teens and women who struggle with self esteem issues.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I am trained in CBT and specialize in evidence based therapy utilizing CBT as well with couples and those using and experiencing domestic violence using CBT.

I would have checked all the boxes if it let me. But, I could only have 2. I'm so glad that I don't have to continuously explain the kind of abuse and neglect I've seen. She gets it!!! I was so relieved, it was like I've been holding my breath. She has a plan and I have hope.
