I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor with an abundance of training in anxiety, depression, stress management, marital/relationship issues, self esteem issues and adjustment disorders brought on by a major life change, such as divorce, relocation or a new baby.
As a therapist I am very curious and seek to understand the client’s worldview, thought process, history, behavioral patterns, stressors and how they all contribute to how the person feels. My clients can expect me to listen to their concerns with a nonjudgmental stance and recommending different strategies to help them with what they are going through.
In my therapy sessions I utilize mostly Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Humanistic Therapy and Mindfulness modalities. I have been trained in a variety of other helpful clinical interventions that I use to compliment our therapy sessions.
My goal as a therapist and a holistic life coach is to work collaboratively with you on your healing journey. Transformation happens on the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical levels, taking the whole person into consideration. I can support you in moving from coping to healing to thriving.
