First session

During the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space to begin sharing what brings them to therapy. We will discuss current concerns, life transitions, goals, and any challenges you may be experiencing. I will also ask questions to better understand your background, strengths, relationships, and the experiences that have shaped you. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin identifying areas you would like to explore. We will discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and begin developing a plan that feels appropriate for your needs and goals. You are encouraged to ask questions and share any concerns about the therapeutic process. Most importantly, you can expect to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Beginning therapy is a meaningful step, and our work together will focus on creating a supportive foundation for insight, growth, and positive change.

Strengths

I practice from a humanistic approach and meet clients where they are as they navigate different life transitions. In our first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and work together to identify the most appropriate ways to support your goals and help you make meaningful progress. Throughout treatment, you'll develop a deeper understanding of how your life experiences can influence

Ideal clients

I work with individuals experiencing significant life transitions who recognize that they are ready to seek support, gain insight, and create meaningful change in their lives. Life transitions can bring uncertainty, stress, emotional challenges, and questions about identity, relationships, goals, and direction. Therapy offers a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to explore these experiences while developing a deeper understanding of thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and patterns. Together, we can identify challenges, build effective coping strategies, strengthen self-awareness, and develop practical tools for navigating change. My approach supports individuals in recognizing their strengths, clarifying their values, and making intentional choices that align with the life they want to create. Whether navigating a career change, relationship transition, personal loss, or a new stage of life, individuals can use therapy as an opportunity for reflection, growth, healing, and developing greater confidence in moving forward.

Treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients develop a deeper understanding of how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore recurring themes, relationship patterns, emotional responses, and areas of conflict that may be affecting daily life. Through a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship, clients are encouraged to reflect on their experiences and gain greater self-awareness. This approach can help individuals recognize patterns that may no longer serve them, process unresolved emotions, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can explore their inner experiences, build insight, and work toward meaningful and lasting personal growth.
