Hi, I am Georgia and I am of Caribbean heritage. I initally began my career in technical problem-solving in the fields of Environmental Science and Engineering, but my deeper calling was always in helping people navigate their own challenges. While working as an engineer, I served my church community as a lay counselor and intercessor, which sparked a growing passion for more meaningful, people-centered work. That calling led me to pursue a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I haven’t looked back since. Today, I serve as both a private practice clinician and a workplace mental health consultant and trainer. This work allows me to blend my analytical skills with a deep commitment to emotional wellbeing—and I truly feel I’ve found my purpose.

We will look at patterns throughout your life to see what things aren’t working for you any longer to make lasting change.

Maybe it is the anxiety that follows you into meetings, a career crossroads you cannot seem to resolve, or a voice in your head that is harder on you than anyone else. You may love your family deeply and still feel exhausted by everything that comes with taking care of everyone else. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps women navigate these complicated seasons of life, strengthen their boundaries, communicate more assertively, and reconnect with who they are outside of the roles they fill for others. Hello, and welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York with over 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and improve their emotional well-being. I earned my Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University and have spent my career supporting people through difficult periods while helping them build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Many people seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or a major life transition that feels difficult to manage on your own. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. If you’re ready to invest in your mental health and personal growth, I would be honored to support you on your journey.
I found my career as a therapist as a secondary one which has provided exposure to multiple therapeutic settings. My start in community mental health gifted me with a well-rounded, diverse level of training and exposure to the human experience. More importantly, my background reinforced the importance and power of the therapeutic relationship. I am curious, empathetic, affirming, and compassionate. My sense of humor often finds its way into our sessions (as do my dogs, if you're so inclined!). Together, we will map your treatment, so that you are clear as to what to expect, regardless of the intervention. We start at the place you are ready, reinforcing the strengths and resiliency that you already exhibit. Together, we build from there to address what you came in for.. Therapy is hard work, but it is also profoundly full, rewarding and empowering. It's important for me to honor both the challenges and rewards.
Hi, I’m Jelysa—founder of Take 2 Counseling, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, wife, and mom of two. Being a therapist is a huge part of who I am, but so is my family. Juggling real-life responsibilities, caring for others, and trying to stay grounded in the middle of it all gives me a deep understanding of the daily pressures many of us face—especially young women who are trying to find their footing in a fast-paced world. Growing up as the daughter of a therapist, I was surrounded by empathy, connection, and emotional awareness from an early age. My mom showed me that healing doesn’t come from being perfect—it comes from being present, making space for growth, and learning through our mistakes. She continues to be my role model for resilience and restoration.
Hello, my name is Sergio and I practice a Humanistic approach which focuses on an individual's inherent and continued personal growth. I have over ten years experience which includes adults, children, couples and families within a variety of social contexts. The core principles that form the foundation of my counseling practice are the same that guide my own personal life. I love my work and I am happy and hopeful to help you.

You may be in a season of life where you find yourself thinking, "I don't know who I am anymore," "I don't know what I need," or simply, "I don't know what comes next." Maybe your relationships feel harder than they used to, you're struggling to feel motivated or fulfilled, or you've spent so much time caring for everyone else that you've lost touch with yourself along the way.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with individuals navigating relationship challenges, identity shifts, life transitions, anxiety, and those "I don't know" seasons where you know something needs to change but aren't quite sure where to begin. Together, we can explore the patterns that are keeping you stuck, strengthen your relationships and communication, reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way, and help you move toward a life that feels more like your own.
I have a particular passion for working with women throughout motherhood and the many transitions that come with it. From pregnancy and postpartum to adjusting to a new identity, changing relationships, balancing roles, and wondering where you fit into all of it. Motherhood can bring love and joy while also feeling overwhelming, isolating, and unfamiliar. I support moms throughout the perinatal and postpartum periods, as well as women simply trying to navigate the emotional complexities of becoming and being a mother.
When I’m not in session, I’m usually spending time with my two children and enjoying the everyday moments of family life. I love baking, trying new recipes, getting outside, and finding time to slow down and recharge.
A few moments to introduce myself. Professionally I am known as
I. Barry Bell, Ph.D. I am a 73-year-old, male, Caucasian Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice for 39 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, in both in-patient psychiatric hospitals and out-patient clinical settings. I have also maintained my own private practice from September 2016 to the present.
Prior to receiving my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1985, I trained extensively as a Modern Dancer for 10 years. During these years I became deeply involved in emerging positive psychologies and Eastern/Buddhist/Taoist studies. This was the beginning of the interface between what is now referred to as Mindfulness based approaches to psychotherapy and Eastern philosophies, especially Buddhist. Mindfulness approaches to psychotherapy are now at the forefront of evidence-based interventions.
I have spent more than the past 20 years studying and practicing the interface between psychotherapy and personal psychological growth. Over the years I have integrated various theoretical approaches, including depth psychodynamic theories. I will be happy to discuss my approach with you further should you choose to contact me to consider engaging in psychotherapeutic work with me.

Many of the people with whom I have worked are struggling with some kind of change, whether it's children growing up, seeking abstinence from a drug or coping with divorce or our own aging process. All these changes can impact our mood and I can help a person cope with the resultant depression or anxiety for instance.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both PA and NJ. I have been in private practice since 2001. I work with ages 15 years and older and I LOVE my career. I work with teens and young adults who are transitioning and have seen these clients through the entire process of not being accepted by peers and, very sadly family, to live incredible full lives. I have a past client's wedding to go to in May :) I get to witness my clients live the lives they've always wanted and I'm a small part of that. I absolutely love my job.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in New Jersey. I received my Master's degree from Caldwell University and have been practicing for 7 years. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings. I currently work with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, stress-management, and self-discovery. My goal is to provide a supportive and safe environment for clients to create positive change, gain self-awareness, and lead a more balanced, fulfilling life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am committed to empowering individuals and couples to overcome life's obstacles. I specialize in offering compassionate therapy and assistance for issues such as substance use, anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflicts, and various life challenges with individuals and couples. My passion lies in creating a safe and supportive environment where my clients can embark on their journey towards healing and personal growth.
Life can feel overwhelming when trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges take center stage. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as a whole person—not just a collection of symptoms. I work collaboratively with clients to help them make meaning of their experiences, reconnect with their values, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. I specialize in trauma and have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use concerns. I also work with couples and families, supporting healthier communication, deeper understanding, and more secure connections. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply seeking clarity and growth, I aim to meet you where you are with compassion and respect.
My approach is rooted in humanistic and existential therapy, emphasizing personal agency, self-awareness, and the belief that change is possible—even in the midst of pain. I take an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grief work, and solution-focused interventions, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Healing is not about “fixing” yourself—it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and learning new ways to relate to your experiences. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and move forward with intention.
Hi, I’m Gretchen Raring, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW: NJ, FL, AZ & ND; LICSW: MA) with 20+ years of experience in behavioral health. I work with teens through older adults, as well as couples, and have supported clients from many backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences.
My practice is grounded in the belief that therapy should feel supportive and purposeful. My style is warm, direct, collaborative, and practical, and I see therapy as a team effort. I want you to feel comfortable being honest while feeling supported and challenged as you work toward change.
My approach is structured but flexible. We’ll have a clear sense of direction while making room for what matters most. I use an eclectic approach based on your needs, strengths, and goals. I don’t believe therapy should feel one-size-fits-all.
One of my strengths is being highly attuned and building the trust that allows deeper work. Together, we’ll connect the dots between your experiences, emotions, relationships, thoughts, and behaviors. We’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies for everyday life.
My background includes work across mental health, addiction, trauma, homelessness, the criminal justice system, and community-based behavioral health. I’ve worked with people during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Those experiences shape how I practice and reinforce my belief that there is always more to someone’s story than what you see on the surface.
I believe progress is about the direction of our work, not the speed. Change often happens through small steps. I’m a strong believer in celebrating every win because those wins build confidence and momentum.
Above all, I want therapy to be a place for honest conversations, deeper understanding, practical tools, and meaningful change—at a pace that works for you.
Life often presents challenging paths. If you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, sadness, fear, or anger, navigating these emotions can feel isolating. However, even the most difficult roads can lead to beautiful destinations, especially with the right support. I offer a genuinely warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where we can travel that road together. My approach is collaborative and tailored specifically to you. We'll draw from a range of effective strategies to help you understand your feelings, develop coping skills, and build resilience. I bring positive energy & a belief in your capacity for growth.
My experience has taught me the profound value of truly connecting with individuals—walking alongside them as they heal, grow, and realize their full potential. This insight has been instrumental in helping clients develop effective strategies to overcome a wide range of mental health challenges, addictive behaviors, and life transitions, as well as concerns related to both mental and physical well-being.
I take a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy, integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), yoga, mindfulness, and breathwork. I firmly believe that each client’s unique story should shape the therapeutic journey.
Clients often leave sessions feeling empowered—with greater confidence, self-esteem, and the motivation to face life’s challenges head-on. My hope is that each person walks back into the world thinking, “I know how to do this day.”
My work is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel safe, seen, and empowered to reclaim their stories. I draw from narrative, attachment-based, and experiential approaches to support clients in understanding patterns, processing difficult experiences, and building more secure, fulfilling relationships. My style is collaborative, holistic, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s resilience, identity, and capacity for growth.
Thank you for reaching out to begin your journey of healing through individual psychotherapy at Grow. I'm so happy that you reached out for help. I am Linda Schmidt, LCSW, LCADC, a licensed therapist in New Jersey. I am a graduate of Fordham University, NYC with a masters degree in clinical social work. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years' experience and a licensed certified drug and alcohol counseling with 7 years' experience in New Jersey. My clinical background has been developed in various programs and facilities such as hospitals, behavioral health centers, detox and inpatient substance abuse rehab facilities. Therapy is about telling the truth. Listening for it, discovering it, and acknowledging it with the help of someone who makes that possible through trust. It's also about growth beyond difficult times, with guidance and encouragement.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has dedicated my professional life to the advancement of the human species. What do I mean by the advancement of the human species? Well, no one ever taught us how to be mindful of thought patterns; to be aware of our own scars and biases, no one gave us an instruction book when it comes to dealing with our emotional life and the emotional lives of others. Scary, those big feelings can be. Unless, you have a plan. That is where therapy comes in. We work together to develop plans to assure you accomplish the goals you set for yourself.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and divorce. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, process difficult emotions, and gain greater self-awareness. My approach is both supportive and practical, helping clients develop healthier communication patterns, strengthen coping skills, and manage stress more effectively. I work collaboratively with clients to build resilience, improve relationships, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.
I am an empathic, supportive therapist who utilizes therapeutic tools to empower my clients to lead more fulfilling lives. Many of my clients are women who identify as Black or Latino and have a history of childhood trauma or are in difficult relationships with their partners or family. I see clients age 20 to 100.
Therapy requires a commitment of time and financial resources. I start out seeing my clients once per week. If you are unable to make the time commitment, I am likely not the best match for your needs.
I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.
Life can be extremely busy and trying at times, especially now with all of the stressful changes in our lives, and we can feel as though we have too many roles to fill at once. This can create anxiety, depression, stress, and family issues. Having someone to help work through these difficulties can be extremely beneficial. I have many years of experience providing counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families who have needed assistance with child behavioral issues, parenting, family conflict, parent-child conflict, relationship issues, stress related to life transitions, self-injurious behaviors, depression, anxiety, infertility stress, and trauma. I like to build a good rapport with the client, sometimes through humor, to help them feel comfortable sharing their stories with me.
