James Jefferson, LISW-CP, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practice who takes a person-centered approach to meet clients where they are and provide meaningful support. He is committed to normalizing mental health care and promoting emotional well-being.
After earning his Bachelor of Social Work from Virginia State University, James worked with individuals diagnosed with mental health conditions, connecting them to essential services and support. During this time, he recognized a lack of diversity among therapists—an issue that clients frequently raised. This inspired him to further his education and become a therapist, with a focus on increasing representation and creating more inclusive therapeutic spaces.

My passion is to nurture and cultivate positive energy and high vibrations throughout my life journey.
Services are provided within a short-term, goal-oriented framework. Treatment typically consists of 6–8 sessions. Hello, I'm Nazli Fouladi. I'm a clinical psychologist who is genuinely committed to helping you navigate life's challenges through mental well-being and emotional balance. I have a profound passion for delving into the complexities of the human mind and assisting others in their journey towards healing, personal growth, and living their best life. My approach is built on empathy, trust, and a strong belief in each person's capacity for positive change, all within a non-directive therapeutic space. I value a holistic approach to mental health including the mind, body and spirit. In addition to my doctoral studies in clinical psychology, I also have a postgraduate background in lifespan developmental psychology. That’s why I’m particularly aware of the difficulties that may come up during the intricate stages and events of life. For example, going off to college, marriage, parenthood, work-life balance caring for older loved ones, generational events/trauma etc.
My academic journey includes a Doctoral and Masters training in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology which I earned in the year 2009. Before that, I received a Master’s degree in lifespan Developmental Psychology from Johns Hopkins University. I also have a graduate background in the Fine Arts and Biology.

Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) with over 14 years of experience supporting adults through life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida and my Doctorate degree from Arizona State University. I am currently licensed to practice in Florida, Maine, Virginia, Arizona, California, Kansas, Vermont, Maryland, and Colorado. Although I reside in Florida, I provide telehealth services to clients across these states.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe each person has the capacity for growth and healing, and I work alongside clients to help them recognize their resilience and build meaningful change. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or relationship challenges, I provide a supportive space to help you find balance, clarity, and emotional well-being.
I help anxious clients discover a sense of control, serenity, and relief from what they perceive as chaos. Anxiety has been my "friend" (in some ways) throughout my life. It helped me reach my goals because I learned to notice its presence, how it teams with other emotions, how to speak to it, and how to tell it to lower its voice when it is not needed. Aside from my lived experience, I have been a therapist for the past, 6 years with adults of all ages and know that you can control it with tailored strategies I can provide.
Hi, I’m Keisharely, a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist specializing in anxiety, trauma, and emotional development in children, adolescents, and young adults. I help clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to manage their emotions build confidence, coping skills, and stronger relationships.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I create a safe, supportive space where clients and families feel understood while working toward meaningful, lasting change.
I am a therapist with over 17 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes working in crisis treatment with children, adolescents, and adults. Currently, I work with adults aged 18–50 who experience mild to moderate anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. In addition to my professional experience, I also draw on personal experience in these areas, which enhances my understanding and empathy for my clients’ experiences.

Hello! My name is Douglas Starliper and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) licensed to practice psychotherapy in both Maryland and Virginia! Before becoming a licensed therapist, I spent a career as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division where I deployed four times. The struggles many Veterans are facing today are what galvanized my interest and desire to begin my 2nd career as a therapist. I utilized my GI bill to complete my undergraduate degree at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD and my graduate degree at University of Maryland Baltimore. I recently completed the supervised portion of my career and am currently fully licensed to practice independently as a LCSW-C.
I have a passion for helping individuals and couples navigate their mental health journeys. I offer virtual therapy sessions, making it convenient for you to receive support from the comfort of your own space. Fluent in both English and Swahili.
My journey to becoming a provider has been both personal and deeply meaningful. I have always been drawn to the idea of walking alongside others in their process of healing, growth, and transformation. For me, therapy is not just a profession—it's a calling. The ability to witness another person's story unfold, to hold space for their pain.

Hello.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland. I am the owner of Breaking BHAD Counseling, LLC, a U.S. Army veteran, and a graduate of Webster University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

My work is structured, direct, and focused on moving forward. I don’t offer endless processing — I help clients gain clarity, confront patterns, and move intentionally toward the life they want.
I have lived a life much like most of my clients. I have experienced hardships and achievements, sadness and joy, and disappointment in myself and in others. For most of my life, I have been lucky enough to somehow “figure it out” on my own. At one point in my life, I made a commitment to myself that no one should have to “figure it out” on their own. We all need to have someone who is committed to helping us out when we are at our most vulnerable.

I have had the pleasure of working in vast clinical settings from residential treatment to crisis work, and have enjoyed getting to know people on a deeper level. I'm here to be a presence in your life on the good days and the difficult days. Every person has a story and my goal is to help write yours so that you can be the best version of yourself. In my free time, I'll be reading a good book and snuggling up with my two fur babies.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), (LICSW) based in Maryland and DC. I have spent 8 years developing my skill set, with the goal of providing quality care services to every person I encounter. My compassion and love for people is what has driven me to pursue an Associates Degree in Human Services, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at Coppin State University and a Master's Degree in Social Work at Morgan State University with a concentration on Urban Youth and families.
On paper, you have it all together. Whether you're managing a team, pouring everything into your career, or navigating the unique pressures of running a business, you're the reliable person everyone turns to. But constantly solving problems for others often means you're left carrying your own stress with no one to support you.
Beneath that capable exterior, you might be carrying the heavy weight of trauma—whether from past experiences or chronic daily stress. It is easy to experience a quiet wave of impostor syndrome, worrying that showing vulnerability will cause everything to crack. Eventually, this turns into deep burnout that spills into your personal life, straining relationships and draining your joy. You don’t have to carry this alone anymore.
I’m here to offer a warm, genuine space where you have a steady, experienced guide in your corner. Prior to my work as a therapist, I have decades of experience in the business world. My approach is informed by my extensive background in work operations and a front-row seat to the business world. I know firsthand how exhausting it is to navigate the fast pace, shifting dynamics, and constant pressure of this environment every single day. Because I understand these realities, I already speak your language.
In our sessions, we focus on healing the root causes of your distress, not just managing symptoms. Backed by extensive training in advanced trauma treatment, I know how to help you safely process deep-seated stress. Highly capable people are often incredibly smart and easily intellectualize feelings, but trauma and burnout live in your nervous system, not just your logical brain.
I am an empathetic and intuitive person who cares very much about the lives of others. I have been in my own therapy for some time as I would not ask others to do work I can’t do myself.
I engage with each client with a pace and style that matches the diagnosis, history, and emotional state they are experiencing. I am very open to feedback back and If you disagree with me on something I encourage a safe relationship where sharing that feels ok.
I have been a Mind, Body and Spirit counselor for 14 years. As a Pastoral Counselor I will help you examine not just your mental and physical well-being but also your spiritual well-being. I will to listen to you and assist you in examining your life, provide you with insight that will help you to determine what is the right course for you.
I believe therapy should feel like a safe and supportive space where you can be yourself without judgement. As a therapist, I bring warmth, compassion, and careful listening to every session, helping you feel truly heard and understood. My style is both thoughtful and practical-I draw on years of experience and a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet you where you are and guide you toward where you'd like to be. I was raised in Florida then Maryland and have always felt a deep connection to people and nature. Just as time outdoors can bring calm and perspective, I strive to create that same sense of grounding and clarity in our work together. Outside of my practice, family life continues to shape my appreciation for relationships, growth and the challenges that come with change. Clients often describe me as a good listener who helps them discover new ways to cope, grow and move forward with confidence. My goal is simple-to help you feel supported, understood and empowered to create the changes you seek.
I feel honored that you, my client, have chosen to trust me with deeply personal feelings and memories. I have been a psychotherapist helping clients for more than 30 years, and have worked with people of many different backgrounds, issues, ages, and cultures, including those in the LGBTQ community. If I have the privilege of working with you, you will enjoy my thoughtful questions and empathic comments. We will find out your goals – what you want to change - and work towards those, at your pace, aiming to improve your mental health and relationships. Having been in the field nearly 50 years, I have developed specialties in: helping people with chronic illness, with trauma, parenting, adult marital and partner relationships, adult sibling relationships, and work-related issues.

Hi, I’m Dr. Josh Gonsher, a licensed clinical psychologist with a warm, down-to-earth approach to healing. I specialize in helping people navigate anxiety, worry, and stress—not by fighting their symptoms, but by creating a new internal landscape where those struggles no longer take center stage.
My approach is grounded in Contextual Therapy. I don’t just help clients “fix” thoughts or behaviors—I work with them to build a more meaningful life, one where old patterns and problems naturally begin to lose their grip. It’s about shifting the frame, not just adjusting the picture.
I offer a space that’s collaborative, gently challenging, and deeply respectful of your unique path. You don’t need to “have it all figured out”—just a willingness to begin. Whether you’re dealing with social anxiety, overthinking, burnout, or a general sense of feeling stuck, my goal is to help you move toward a version of life that you choose, one that often feels more grounded, spacious, and aligned with whom you truly are.
Welcome to my page! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read through and get to know a little bit more about me. I went into mental health therapy because I enjoyed learning about the mind and the brain, and I love being able to help people. While my background is in mental health, I have a license in social work. I enjoy the broader scope that my license affords me. I feel that it allows me to offer a broader perspective on things and serve a wider variety of people.
I aim to expand as I grow and develop in my practice. I want to be able to give the best therapy I can. Which is why I am not only honest with myself about my strengths but also where my limitations are. My goal is for everyone to get the help they need, whether I am the person who provides that or not.
Without going into too much detail, I have had my fair share of adverse experiences. While I was fortunate enough to have people who were well-meaning, they were unable to support me in the way that I needed them to. Being a therapist allows me to be that person who has the tools to support people.
Greetings, my name is John Luke. I am a licensed clinical social worker and specialize in helping people to effectively manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns using cognitive behavioral techniques. I have worked with a range of populations, nearly all ages, and also have experience with addiction treatment and life-coaching. I work with people to develop insight into the source of their problems, how their core beliefs about the world might be hindering their progress, and focus on their natural strengths to overcome those barriers with practical skills that generate sustainable change. Some of my other specialties include short-term, solution-focused therapy; cognitive behavioral therapy techniques; psychodynamic approaches; and marital counseling.
Some of the problems I am particularly keen on solving with my clients include issues with self-image and confidence; dating and relationships; boundary-setting and assertive communication; as well as general anxiety management; and learning to identify and productively resolve emotional unrest. I am also very experienced in cognitive restructuring, which is just a fancy way of saying helping to change the way a person thinks about the world and their place in it. I also enjoy aiding people in goal setting and identification, meaning-making, and navigating family conflicts. If you feel any of this could be helpful or useful to you, please do not hesitate to reach out!
(Note: I do work with couples, but only on a cash-pay basis. Also, I only work with ages 18+)

At my core, I believe a fulfilling life requires balancing and nurturing the body, mind, and soul. My therapeutic approach is straightforward, genuine, and transparent: I don’t sugarcoat things, and what you see is what you get. I entered this field with a singular, clear purpose—to help people—and that remains my exact intention every day.
