I am a native of Washington, DC, and growing up was no fairy tale. I am no novice to adversity, trauma, and mental health challenges. My less-than-fortunate experiences have led me to community service. My wealth of knowledge and expertise enable me to support those who are struggling on their journey. I’m direct in my approach to therapy because hearing the truth will set you free. What you do with the truth is totally up to you. My job is to help you reach a resolution and achieve mental stability. You are the expert about you and it is important that you are willing to be truthful and transparent about your situation. We will work together to help empower you to navigate through life, create solutions, and help you get to a healthy State of Mind.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be a collaborative effort and a time to build rapport, during which you can ask any questions or raise any concerns to see if I'm the right fit for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is empowering clients to see beyond their current challenges and recognize their capacity for growth, resilience, and change. I help clients transform insight into action so they can move forward with confidence and purpose.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My therapy approach focuses on you, the client, helping you reach your goals and maximize your mental wellness. Therapy can only work if you’re willing to do the work. Results don’t come by happenstance, but by sacrifice, work, and a willingness to take ownership of your actions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Help clients identify and modify distorted thinking and maladaptive behaviors, enabling meaningful emotional and behavioral change. Empower clients with practical skills to help manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief experienced from childhood or recent events.
