I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia and the District of Columbia who has been in the helping profession for 20 years. I have worked in a variety of fields including social services, inpatient mental health, foster care, special education, and school mental health. I am passionate about helping people to reach their goals and develop life-long wellness. As a therapist, it is not my role or desire to give you advice or make decisions for you. What I offer is a place for you to feel valued for who you are, exactly as you are. I will ask questions and help you process the answers. My journey to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor was shaped by a deep desire to support others through life’s challenges—especially during times when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or alone. Like many people, I’ve experienced how difficult it can be to navigate personal struggles without the right support system, and I’ve always been drawn to helping others find clarity, purpose, and hope during those moments. Over time, I realized that being a counselor would allow me to not only listen and empathize, but to walk alongside people as they identify their goals and uncover their inner strengths. What drives me every day is the opportunity to be part of someone’s growth—to offer a space where they feel truly heard and supported, and to help them discover that change is possible, even when it feels out of reach.

I realized that we all have something that we want to work on within ourselves. I want to thank you for choosing me to help you on your journey to doing just that. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to providing quality psychotherapy for those looking to reinvest in themselves. My clinical areas of specialty include individual/family counseling, addiction, trauma, depression and anxiety. I specialize in treating personality and mood disorders, AD/HD, and co-occurring disorders. I also have extensive experience in career counseling. I enjoy working with adolescents, teens, and adults. I apply cognitive behavioral approach and solution-focused brief therapy; however, I am experienced in several other therapeutic modalities.

We know that initiating counseling services for your child or yourself can be very challenging. However, please know that you are making a positive step towards a healthy change in your life. During the counseling process, together we will identify your strengths and use those strengths to help propel you in making the necessary changes you would like to make in your life.
