I’ve been practicing as a licensed psychologist for more than 25 years, primarily utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy as an effective tool to treat anxiety and depression. As these can be emotionally debilitating conditions, addressing these issues can improve one’s sense of well-being, and thus their lives, dramatically. I have also more recently incorporated spirituality into my treatment regimen, thus addressing that aspect of one's personality in relation to their recovery from depression and/or anxiety.

I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida accepting new clients. I try to match what the client in front of me needs. I use a client-centered approach most often and evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavior therapy or motivational interviewing. I'll give an open, nonjudgmental space to help you move through rather than around difficult thoughts, feelings, and situations. I can help with a variety of concerns from adjusting to life changes, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and/or unresolved trauma. For trauma work, there a few methods that we discuss and choose depending on needs: EMDR, CPT and NET. Each trauma intervention is quite different in method but the ultimate goal is the same: post traumatic growth.

I am an American Red Cross volunteer, 13 years. I volunteer in Disaster Mental Health, Services to the Armed Forces, Yellow Ribbons, as well as facilitate Reconnection Workshops for Deployed and Re-Deployed soldiers and veterans. I have been successful and quite effective in working with Addictions, Individuals, Couples, Families, school issues, Christian Counseling, and personality disorders.
