(she/her)
Hi, I’m a licensed mental health counselor with a doctorate in clinical psychology, passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, heal from past experiences, and build the life you want. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, or feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you with practical tools, insight, and genuine care.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we get to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy, what you hope to work on, and any goals you might have. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—we’ll go at your pace. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and comfortable as we begin this journey together.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my warmth, empathy, and ability to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel truly heard. I’m skilled at helping clients connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, and patterns, while also offering practical tools they can use in daily life. I bring a balance of deep compassion and clear guidance to support meaningful, lasting change.
I’m best positioned to support adults, teens, and couples navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or self-esteem issues. I work well with individuals who tend to overthink, feel overwhelmed, or put others' needs before their own. I also help couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their connection. If you're looking for a therapist who offers empathy, insight, and practical tools for lasting change—I’m here for you.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients stop fighting their thoughts and emotions, and instead learn to accept them while taking meaningful action toward their values. In sessions, we focus on building mindfulness, increasing psychological flexibility, and identifying what truly matters to you. I've found ACT to be especially helpful for anxiety, depression, and life transitions. It’s not about "fixing" you — it’s about helping you live a fuller, more authentic life.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we work on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and replacing them with more balanced, realistic thoughts. CBT is practical and goal-focused, and I’ve found it especially effective for anxiety, depression, and stress. It gives you tools you can use in everyday life to feel more in control and improve your emotional well-being.
In couples counseling, I help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and understand each other on a deeper level. My approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental—we focus on identifying patterns that may be causing conflict and work together to create healthier ways of relating. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or just want to strengthen your connection, I provide a safe space where both partners feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow as a team.
I believe therapy should honor who you are, including your culture, background, and lived experiences. In my work, I strive to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and understood. Culturally sensitive therapy means I listen with openness, avoid assumptions, and stay aware of how culture, identity, and systemic factors may impact your mental health. My goal is to support you in a way that aligns with your values and feels truly relevant to your life.
Compassion-Focused Therapy helps you develop kindness toward yourself, especially when you're struggling with self-criticism, shame, or anxiety. In our work together, I’ll help you understand how your brain and emotions work, and guide you in building inner strength through self-compassion. It’s about learning to treat yourself with the same care and understanding you’d offer a friend—so healing feels safer and more sustainable.
