Hi, my name is Lisa Woolner, and I am an LCSW. I'm so glad you're here. For the past 13 years I've been helping people struggling with substance use, mental health issues, and cancer treatment and survivorship issues. This has given me an opportunity to develop a diverse background working with various issues such as substance use, anxiety, depression, processing and communicating difficult emotions, marital issues (including infidelity), low self esteem, communication problems, past trauma, and family of origin issues.
I help teens and adults facing anxiety, depression, panic, deal with self harm, eating disorders, feelings of emotional abandonment , have better relationships, maintain sobriety and to live a life of happiness. I am eclectic in my orientation and offer a holistic, integrative approach to client centered therapy, using cognitive behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, stress management, meditation and yoga practices which I learned growing up in the Himalayan mountains. I enjoy working with clients from multicultural backgrounds whether they are adults, teenagers, couples or families.

Hello,
I'm Jane originally born and raised in N.J. and living in Florida since 2017. I've been practicing mental health therapy for 40+ years in the field and in private practice. I enjoy working with clients and helping them through the therapy process and achieve their goals. Originally, I was planning on becoming an anthropologist and studying with Dr. Margaret Mead, however, my career plans changed when I realized that my own family had difficulties in communicating with each other. I wanted to study and help other families learn to talk to one another. From seeing families, this turned into seeing children-teens, couples, and adults. I find it very rewarding to help clients through a difficult time.

I specialize in supporting clients struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety, and emotional wounds, offering a compassionate, empowering space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. I approach mental wellness as a spectrum of being that will regularly ebb and flow for all people. We all have "good" days and "not so good" days; we all need someone to talk to and to listen to us when days are harder, and we all need a compassionate voice to tell us that we can work through this. Menatl health work is manageable when it is education and information based, which helps us to make our problems seem more manageable. I like to help my clients feel comfortable about talking through their thoughts and obstacles, and finding real, simple solutions to problems. I have worked with people of all ages; my youngest client was 3 years old, and my oldest client was 84; I am proud to say that I can adjust to meet clients' needs. This is due to my ability to listen and to collaborate actively with clients to help them have a say in their care and healing.

Together, we’ll navigate these challenges and work toward emotional healing and growth. Take this step for yourself. I’d love to walk this journey with you.
I believe that one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist. Feeling safe, understood, and supported makes real healing possible.
