I earned my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova University and began my professional career immediately after graduation. My first job was at a physical rehabilitation hospital where I worked with individuals of all ages. These were patients in treatment for multiple conditions including spinal cord injuries, head injuries, strokes, multiple sclerosis, knee and hip replacements. This experience was the base from where I developed my theoretical framework. For the past 20+ years, I have worked with many individuals and families, each with their own unique challenges and views.
