Hi! Thanks for visiting my page on Grow! My name is Mailyn Paredes. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Sunshine: Florida and now more recently and excitingly, Oregon! I became a therapist fueled by the desire and passion to help others achieve their greatest potential and navigate existing challenges in their everyday lives. In our first session together, I will be conducting a motivational interview, in order to better understand your situation and be able to help you identify goals to work on in our journey together.
I am very down to earth, easy to talk to, and thrive to help others achieve their specialized and individualized goals. My retention's rate (or client's desire to return to meet with me after the first session) is above 85%.

Hi there.....I am pretty passionate about what I do, and use a variety of treatment modalities such as Insight-Oriented Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Gottman Method, Evidence - Based Therapy and others. I work with individuals to treat Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, ADHD, Trauma BPD, and Spectrum neurodivergence. I am experienced at validating Trauma, and helping increase coping mechanisms with an array of challenges. I specialize in couples of all types, LGBTQIA, Gender Dysphoria, Trans-Teen/adult support, Infertility, and multicultural Counseling. I love the way Mailyn connects with a me. She is very intelligent and humorous to She treats me like family and i can discuss anything that is bothering me. She makes me leave a session with a smile on my face.

I just adore her! She is a great fit for me and my needs. She is knowledgeable and kind. Wonderful at pushing me and stressing me to hear the things I may not want to hear. She also holds me accountable for things I have said in the past and/or things I need to do. I also love that I can talk about Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Having her understand that religious side of my life is important to me. I have had previous professionals not understand it fully, so that's extremely helpful for me.
