Hello! My name is Larry.
Life can get pretty overwhelming and sometimes we need a helping hand.
I have 20 plus years experience helping folks with overwhelming anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship issues and recovery from trauma. My approach is to join you in partnership to identify your needs and create personalized solutions.
I enjoy working with a wide range of folks from all walks of life. I am LGBT friendly and affirming. I take a “whole person” holistic approach while employing evidence based practices. As such, we can work to help you integrate your family life, work life, spirituality as we work toward healing and becoming your very best self.
Seeking therapy is a brave thing! You've already taken the first step. Let's work together.
Are you struggling with challenges that affect your emotional health and wellbeing? Do past experiences feel like they're limiting your potential? Are you looking for a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings?
I'm a licensed psychotherapist who believes the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful catalyst for change. My goal is to partner with you toward your desired goals in a supportive, collaborative environment — working together to foster positive change and build strategies for self-empowerment.
I'm trained in EMDR therapy, based on the idea that our brains have a natural system for processing experiences so we can retain what serves our growth. When disturbing experiences overwhelm that system — or we lack the context to make sense of what happened — the effects can linger. EMDR uses bilateral (left-right) stimulation to activate the brain's natural processing system, helping you work through difficult experiences and release what no longer serves you.
I believe our past shapes our present and future, in both adaptive and maladaptive ways. I'd be honored to help you on your journey toward inner peace, self-love, and fulfillment.
Hi, thanks for stopping by!
The founding principles I have based my professional practice on are: empathy, respect, non-judgement and self-awareness. Very well acquainted personally and professionally with Anxiety, I have developed a specialty in this area. My approach to Anxiety and Mental Health in general, is one of "working with" rather than "fighting against". I have found it effective to start therapy by focusing on where the client is at on any given moment, and together working our way to where the client wants to be. My therapy style is Solution-focused, with emphasis on Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, also informed by Systems Theory, Humanistic and Psychodynamic concepts. I have always been fascinated with the study of the human mind, especially the unconscious, and the impact personal perspective has on the circumstances we experience.
Many people turn to psychotherapy or counseling for help with anxiety, depression, trauma, and painful relationship patterns, or simply because they feel something is missing from life. At times, we may lack the words to describe our struggles or suffering. By gaining insight into past relationships and experiences, many people begin to make progress toward overcoming these difficulties, becoming more effective in both their work and their personal lives. I am a licensed clinician with 20 years of experience helping individuals achieve a more fulfilling life.

Hello and welcome. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and a certified Trauma-Informed Care therapist with 15 years of experience in the mental health field. My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, balanced with honest feedback and accountability. I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, empowered, and safe to speak openly about what is—and isn’t—working.
My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, psychodynamic, and psychoeducational approaches. Some sessions call for deep reflection, while others benefit from practical tools and strategies—and I tailor our work to your unique needs and goals. When appropriate, I also believe humor can be a meaningful and healing part of the therapeutic process.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida since March 2007. I have over 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy and assessing adults, families and children in multiple settings. I consider myself skilled using a variety of clinical interventions (expressive arts with cognitive-behavioral, client-centered and trauma-informed approaches) in three languages: English, Spanish and French.
I am a Colombian born immigrant who came to the US to further my education and practice as a psychotherapist. I have helped many people work through coping with life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma and other multiple issues... I thrive in connecting with the person and developing trust, hope and faith in the therapeutic -and creative- process. My main focus is to provide a safe space for open conversations -via TeleHealth or in office- that allow the person to find their own path towards growing and healing. It takes courage to face our psychological challenges AND to take the first steps towards change, if you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you all the way!
