New to Grow
I believe we all benefit from having a safe, non-judgmental space to express and process our thoughts and emotions. Many times, our past experiences impact our ability to connect to others and appreciate the current moment. It can be helpful to read the previous chapters of our lives to gain an understanding of the present and provide direction for future chapters we aspire to write. I am passionate about learning the world view of each person and working collaboratively using a holistic approach to healing. My authentic strength-based style cultivates a safe consistent environment for reflection and insight.
During our initial session, I'll spend time getting to know you, learning about your story, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We'll move at a pace that is comfortable with you.
I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen and accepted while also supported to grow. My focus is on helping clients understand themselves and create meaningful change.
I enjoy working with individuals who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, trauma, grief, or difficulties with self esteem. Many of clients are seeking greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, improved emotional well being, or a renewed sense of purpose. I work towards creating and maintaining a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where we can explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps us understand how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. This includes identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and replacing them with more balanced ways of thinking and responding.
Trauma Informed Care
My approach emphasizes emotional safety, trust, collaboration, allowing you to share your story at a pace that feels comfortable. We'll work together to understand the impact of past experiences, building healthy coping skills, and support your healing without judgement.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-Centered Therapy is based on the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted. We'll explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in order to provide clarity, gain self awareness, and assist in making changes that align with your values and goals.
