Welcome! I am Dr. Misti Anderson, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Professional. I have 25+ years in the counseling arena and have worked with clients of all ages. In recent years, I have primarily worked with adolescents. I believe in a collaborative approach where you will feel welcome in a supportive environment. I also strive to create a space where you will feel supported as you develop healthy coping strategies to live your best life.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what brings you here. You don’t need to share everything right away—we’ll move at a pace that’s comfortable. We’ll talk about your history, current stressors, and how your health may be affecting you. Therapy moving forward will be a collaborative process, and we’ll discuss goals and options together. My role is to support and empower you. If something doesn’t feel right, you’re encouraged to speak up—this is your space.
