Has it been difficult and tough sometimes to talk to others like family and friends? Do you feel like people around you are not listening or hearing you when you speak? Do you struggle with self-compassion and self-gratitude? Have you always turned to other means to cope when stressed such as alcohol or other substances?
I help individuals who are struggling with all the above and work side by side with you to formulate a healthier way to communicate and get to the root of your problems. If you also struggle with substance abuse, I have 3 years of experience helping individuals suffering with alcohol, cannabis and stimulant use disorder find healthier ways to cope with issues than with the use of substances.
I want to applaud you for taking the first step in your recovery and healing, this can all feel scary at first but you are on your way to healthier version of yourself! In our upcoming sessions together, I will meet you with compassion and empathy and take a collaborative approach to help you overcome any obstacle in your way. I look forward to working with you!

A counseling relationship is often necessary to effectuate meaningful change--identifying and interrupting maladaptive patterns and building new ones. We’ll examine your history, resolve current challenges, and map a clear path to your goals. I specialize in brief, focused therapy that can result in relief from depression and anxiety, plus targeted treatment for accumulated trauma (combat, childhood physical/sexual abuse, emotional neglect, poverty, loss).
Kind Regards,
Silvio
