Hello, my name is Ann and look forward to meeting and to working with you. I moved from Pennsylvania in 2019 as I could not handle winter any more and needed to be somewhere warm! I have two Master of Arts degrees from Kutztown University - one in Counseling Psychology ( obtained in 1995) and the other in School Counseling ( obtained in 2004). I started in mental health therapy in 1995, then moved into substance abuse counseling for several years, then school counseling while I raised my son for 18 yrs, and now back to mental health/substance use counseling as that is my passion. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband doing outdoor activities - especially riding the Harley and going out on the water. I love to walk daily and enjoy knitting in my spare time.
Everyone in life ( including therapists at times) need someone to talk to in order to help resolve problems, manage stress, process trauma or enhance coping skills. I believe in looking at what you want to accomplish as the goal of therapy and then working on skills to achieve that goal. I utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques as well as person-centered techniques and when needed will involve the family if the client is willing and if it will enhance our work together. I believe everyone has the tools inside them to achieve their goals; it is just about unlocking them and utilizing them. I have worked extensively with trauma survivors and have utilized mindfulness exercises. I also have worked extensively with clients who have co-occurring disorders including depression/anxiety along with substance use disorder. I also have work extensively with teenagers and LGTBQ+ community.
I am a licensed psychotherapist with a variety of clinical experiences. I have experience in helping clients with LGBTQIA + related issues, relationship issues, substance abuse, family conflicts, & motivation, self-esteem and confidence, traumas from physical and sexual abuse, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, which are the tenets of each therapeutic relationship I build with my clients. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique needs. Embarking on the journey to a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, I am here to support you in that process.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor, my passion is to provide clients a safe place to focus on their journey toward growth and healing. I have over twenty years of experience counseling clients of all ages who are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief/loss and relationship difficulties. I also work with those that are seeking encouragement from someone nonjudgmental as they face life’s stressors and difficult decisions. I offer individual, couples, and family therapy (both in office & through telehealth).
Building great relationships is one of the most meaningful aspects of life.
Hello future client!
My name is Ruthie and I'm one of those rare native Floridians. My primary practice approach is relational, using interventions that can help you understand the link between your thoughts, feelings and actions and the effect on your relationships. This will improve your ability to connect with others in ways that will enhance your life. I want to support you to have the loving, fulfilling, respectful relationships you deserve.
In my graduate program, I learned that all human behavior develops in the context of relationships. Family relationships are most significant to individual growth. The importance of healthy relationships in a successful life is often underestimated. The value of independence in our society overshadows our human need for connections. The quality of our family, friends, romantic, work and community connections impact our physical, mental and emotional health. Positive interactions promote feelings of connectedness and a sense of self-worth while negative encounters can lead to increased anxiety, a lack of self-confidence, and may even affect your thinking abilities.
I earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from University of South Florida in 2009 and obtained a Master’s in Social Work from the University of New England in 2016. I proudly became a licensed therapist in 2020, one good thing that occurred during the Covid pandemic.
HI, I am a therapist with 30 years of experience. I considered myself "seasoned" and not old.
In my practice, I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their concerns, gain insight, and work toward meaningful change.
I offer bilingual sessions in English and Spanish, making my services accessible to a wider range of clients. Whether you are facing challenges in your personal life, experiencing difficulties in your relationships, or navigating a life transition, I’m here to help you understand your emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build a more fulfilling life. My ultimate goal is to empower you to achieve emotional well-being, strengthen your relationships, and foster resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
Mark has been a Clinical Social worker for the past 16 years working in the US and UK with various client populations from Babies needing organ transplants to adults with End Stage Renal Disease. The common thread with those unwell as he puts it, has been their connection or lack thereof with positive thoughts, habits and social network. The lack of these associations generally leads to decline over time. He realized that he was most passionate about helping people stay or return to wellness rather that assisting the disease state. Mark actively pursues the link between effective nutrition and solid Mental Health and Wellness, his aim is the help clients feel like the best version of themselves. Helping with effective wellness plans regarding general health, weight loss and disease reversal process.

I’m Michelle (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Central Florida.
Central Florida has been my home for over 15 years. I attended University of Central Florida where I completed both a Bachelors and Masters of Social Work. During my Masters, I also specialized in Military Social Work and received training in Play Therapy. Since then, I have gone on to work with families and youth, strengthening relationships, overcoming trauma (particularly sexual trauma), and building their self- worth. I have 6 years of experience as a Clinical Social Worker where I have been able to utilize my bilingual skills specifically with adolescents and their families. Along with acquiring skills in expressive therapies, therapy outdoors, as well as superhero therapy to utilize fandom and creativity to help clients reach their Better Tomorrow. Currently I am an MSTI Florida Certified Sex Therapist.
I am a mother, a wife, a survivor, and like you I am flawed. Each of us is on a journey of self growth and discovery and I would love to be a part of yours.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, birth doula, yoga teacher, and professor with a passion for walking alongside people through life’s most complex seasons. My work is rooted in compassion, evidence-based practice, and a belief that healing involves the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
In my practice, I specialize in reproductive and perinatal mental health, trauma recovery, and supporting individuals and couples navigating infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and life transitions. I also work with clients facing chronic illness and the lingering impact of stress and anxiety. My integrative approach may include traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, yoga-based techniques, and psychoeducation, tailored to fit your unique needs and goals.
Clients often describe me as calm, supportive, and practical. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place where you don’t have to “have it all together.” Instead, you’ll find space to process honestly, learn effective tools, and build resilience. Whether you are seeking short-term support or long-term healing, we’ll work together at your pace to create meaningful change.
Beyond the therapy room, I teach and mentor future social workers, which keeps me grounded in both current research and real-world practice. My experience as a doula and yoga teacher allows me to bring a holistic, nurturing lens to therapy that honors your strengths while addressing challenges.
Above all, I want you to know: you don’t have to walk this path alone. Healing is possible, and I would be honored to support you in finding your way forward.

Are you wondering if your drug or alcohol use is becoming a problem? Do you know that it is a problem, but cannot seem to control it? I am experienced in working with a range of substance use issues, from mild to severe, as well as process or behavioral addictions, such as addictions to sex, shopping, pornography, food, and people. Effective psychotherapy can include helping limit your use and minimize its consequences, or complete abstinence, and an assessment if medication such as Suboxone, Methadone, or Vivitrol is right for you.
I want to first applaud you — not just for enduring what you’ve been through, but for your continued commitment to thrive beyond it.
My clients are thrivers — individuals who have lived through family conflict, sexual abuse, and childhood trauma, and are now actively choosing to build a life that feels meaningful and fully their own. Their past may have shaped them, but it does not define the future they are creating.
I honor the boldness it takes to move from simply surviving to truly living. Many of the people I work with are reclaiming parts of themselves that were once overshadowed by fear or self-doubt. They are learning to trust their needs, celebrate their voice, and experience connection with a sense of grounding and joy.
Thriving is a dynamic journey. It includes new confidence, deeper relationships, increased presence, and the ability to savor moments that once felt out of reach. It’s the shift from “getting through the day” to feeling rooted, empowered, and open to possibility. It’s experiencing emotion without being overwhelmed. It’s choosing self-compassion over shame.
In our work together, we focus on expanding capacity for aliveness — rebuilding internal safety, strengthening identity, and nurturing the parts of self that are ready to emerge. My clients are not only healing; they are growing, evolving, and stepping into lives where they feel connected, purposeful, and free.
Every person’s path is unique, but the strength I witness is universal. They are redefining what’s possible, creating new family legacies, and allowing themselves to thrive in ways they once never imagined. I deeply believe in their power — and in the vibrant, fulfilling lives they are building.
