Hey there! I’m really proud of you for being here. Choosing yourself isn’t always easy, especially when you’re used to pushing through, holding it together, and being the strong one—but it’s so worth it. I’m Dana, a Licensed Clinical Therapist, full-time travel medical social worker, and the founder of Healing Convos. Outside of therapy, I’m navigating real life just like you, balancing work, family, responsibilities, and all the roles we’re expected to play. Being on the move as a travel medical social worker has shown me just how common burnout, emotional exhaustion, and feeling “stuck” really are, especially for people who are constantly pouring into others. As a millennial therapist, I understand how exhausting it can feel trying to keep up with hustle culture, societal expectations, and the pressure to always be “on.” Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of who they are outside of their responsibilities. Whether it’s navigating toxic work environments, relationship or friendship breakups, family dynamics, or simply feeling lost in adulthood, you’re not alone. I offer part-time therapy for individuals who are ready to slow down, check in with themselves, and build healthier ways to cope, heal, and move forward—without judgment and at your own pace. Therapy with me isn’t about perfection; it’s self-awareness and learning how to show up for yourself in a way that feels sustainable. I created Healing Convos to give Millennials and Gen Zer's, especially men and women of color, a safe space to explore these challenges, find their voice, and reconnect with their values. If you’re ready to stop chasing and start living a life that feels intentional, peaceful, and aligned with who you truly are, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. Think of it as less “formal therapy” and more of a safe space to talk through what brought you here, what’s weighing you down, and what you’re hoping to change. We’ll unpack some of your biggest concerns, touch on your story (because it matters), and start outlining realistic goals together. I know therapy can feel intimidating at first, but I’m here to make it approachable, supportive, and judgment-free. This is your space to heal and grow.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a provider is creating a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued. I bring authenticity and empathy to every session, meeting you exactly where you are, without judgment. As someone who understands the challenges of hustle culture, toxic environments, and societal pressures, I help clients navigate life’s messiness with practical tools and emotional support. I’m also passionate about helping you build confidence in setting boundaries, prioritizing yourself, and creating a life that feels aligned with your values. Whether it’s unpacking tough emotions, breaking free from unhelpful patterns, or embracing rest without guilt, I guide my clients with a mix of warmth, relatability, and encouragement. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling empowered, supported, and one step closer to living your best, most intentional life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with Millennials and Gen Zer's who are navigating the chaos of adulthood, whether it’s the stress of anxiety, big life changes, self-care struggles, or feeling stuck in toxic patterns. As a millennial myself, I get it. I’ve been there waking up dreading work, feeling unfulfilled, overwhelmed by the “what’s next?” anxiety of the future, and not setting boundaries or prioritizing myself. My approach is collaborative, empowering, and grounded in real-life tools that you can actually use. My goal is to help you break free from the hamster wheel of hustle culture and create a life that feels good not just productive.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a strength-based approach while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with other effective techniques like Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed practices. My goal is to meet you where you are and empower you with practical tools to tackle life’s challenges. Whether you’re managing anxiety, navigating career stress, or working through self-doubt, I use CBT to help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier, more constructive ways of thinking. Together, we’ll focus on building skills that promote lasting growth and confidence.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

With Solution-Focused Brief Treatment, we focus less on the problem and more on the outcome you want. We identify your strengths, set goals, and create realistic steps that help you see progress without feeling overwhelmed.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is used to break things down in a clear, relatable way. I help clients understand their symptoms, emotional responses, and patterns so they can make sense of what they’re experiencing and apply tools that support real-life change.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy helps make sense of why relationships can feel triggering, overwhelming, or confusing. We work on understanding your attachment style, healing emotional wounds, and creating safer, more secure connections.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy to help clients navigate loss in a way that feels supportive and intentional. Whether you’re grieving a loved one, a relationship, or a season of life, we focus on processing emotions, finding meaning, and rebuilding a sense of stability.
