What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

When clients' complete sessions with me, they often report feeling more hopeful, determined, secured, and resilient. I welcome all clients from all backgrounds.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is wisdom which comes from my father who died two years ago at 83 years old. The wisdom instilled in me from my father channels towards helping my clients overcome their struggles by challenging their perspectives and supporting their commitment to change. Another one of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to build rapport with clients centered upon empathy, genuineness, and an overall caring relationship. Furthermore, what makes me unique is having an understanding of the process it takes to maximize on the difference that one wants to make in their lives.

Along with Motivational Interviewing, I also use Mindfulness Based Therapy. I use Mindfulness Based Therapy to help clients remain present and stay in the moment. Mindfulness Based Therapy helps clients to take one day at a time in an attempt to reduce anxiety that can be related to the fear of the unknown. I also use Mindfulness Based Therapy to provide clients with essential strategies to allow them to remain present such as deep breathing and guided meditation. I use Mindfulness Based Therapy to help individuals cope with Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Chronic Pain, Addiction and Relapse Prevention, Anger and Emotional Regulation, Self Esteem Issues, Burnout and Resilience.
