I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida with over ten years of professional experience working primarily with clients who have experienced trauma or who have PTSD.
I believe that everyone can benefit from counseling. We all have situations and phases of our lives where it's helpful to have a neutral sounding board. We can all benefit from having a person who listens and really hears what we're saying and a place we feel safe to say anything at all without fear of judgment.
Whether you are struggling with a long-term problem or you're trying to navigate a new situation, I can provide the space and support you need as we work together toward your goals.
I’m Cassy Dorvilier, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Clinical Director with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families on their journey toward healing and wholeness. In our sessions, I create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your story without judgment. I draw on powerful, evidence-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Inner Child Work, and trauma-informed care to help you understand the parts of yourself, heal emotional wounds, and uncover your inner resilience. Whether you are seeking help as an individual or in a group setting, therapy with me is a collaborative process that supports growth, clarity, and self-compassion. I integrate faith into the therapeutic process—honoring Christian values and belief systems while respecting each person’s spiritual path. Whether you’re a woman seeking self-discovery, a man learning new ways to process and communicate emotions, or a child building coping skills and self-esteem, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you toward a life of deeper understanding and freedom.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly clinical. I offer a supportive, down-to-earth space where you can show up exactly as you are — no pressure, no judgment. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply ready for change, we’ll work together to better understand what’s going on and identify practical steps forward.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation, balanced with tools and strategies that you can actually use in daily life. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build coping skills, and strengthen your ability to navigate challenges with confidence.
Seeking support is a courageous step, and you don’t have to figure things out alone. My goal is to help you gain clarity, develop resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Stress, anger, depression, and anxiety can really impact your overall functioning and quality of life. Are you facing issues that you need help to work through? Do you have a life goal that you would like to achieve? Is it difficult to adjust to lifestyle changes? I recognize that our problems seldom exist in a bubble and that more often than not they are a direct reflection of our upbringing, past trauma, and/or our environment. Clients often cherish my ability to be direct, honest and having unconditional positive regard while challenging maladaptive beliefs.
Investing in counseling can yield long-term rewards to influence healing, intimacy, and wholeness. Acquiring necessary tools for healthy growth can be invaluable to achieving an authenticity of self. We will endeavor to enhance your life through increased self-awareness, personal growth, and self-acceptance utilizing the modality most beneficial to you.
Deciding to go to therapy may be a difficult decision. However, therapy can help you process complex emotions and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. Therapy can also help you learn new ways of coping. I welcome the opportunity to meet you and I'm honored by your consideration to allow me to journey with you.

You may have heard things like, “Just move on,” “let it go,” or “that’s in the past.” But if the pain is still there, if your heart feels heavy, if it affects your daily life, if you have to pretend everything is fine, or if it takes great effort just to get through your responsibilities, you may be experiencing trauma-related responses.
Therapy offers a safe and supportive space where you can process what you’ve been through, validate your emotions, and develop healthy ways to heal and move forward. A trauma-focused approach allows us to work gently and effectively with your experiences while strengthening your emotional stability and sense of control.

I have been a practicing social worker for more than 30 years . Much of this experience has been working in a large public teaching hospital in Miami, Florida. The scope of service that the hospital provides is quite comprehensive which afforded me opportunities to work with a very diverse population . i have counseled patients and their families dealing with a variety of illnesses, both physical and mental health, survivors of sexual assault, and also providing counseling to patients in a correctional setting. I like challenging situations. My style of counseling is very eclectic, depends on the client and their unique set of problems. This can range from client centered, solution oriented or cognitive behavioral as many people are coming to therapy to learn new ways of thinking and alternative coping strategies.
For the past two years, I have been involved in teletherapy providing psychotherapy to clients that are experiencing such problems as anxiety, depression, employment, relationship, and interpersonal difficulties. Also I have been providing counseling to teenagers dealing with the above issues and involving their parents when indicated.
You have taken a courageous step by seeking counseling, and I would be honored to help you meet your goals.

I am a licensed mental health counselor providing telehealth therapy for adults (18+) across Florida. My practice is centered on helping you rediscover joy, work through emotional challenges, and reconnect with your authentic self. I take a mindful, growth-oriented approach to therapy. This means we focus on increasing awareness, building insight, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we will explore patterns that may be holding you back and develop practical tools to help you feel more balanced, resilient, and grounded in your daily life. I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and respect. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward the life you want. I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they grow, heal, and step more fully into who they are.
I predominantly work with young men struggling with social anxiety disorder. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy for social anxiety because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, poor self-worth, and poor self-confidence. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfilling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!
