I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker based in Miami, Florida. I earned my graduate degree from Florida International University in 2010 and have been licensed since 2016. My career began at Banyan Health Systems (formerly Miami Behavioral), where I worked as an adult mental health case manager back in 2004. After gaining my Masters degree, I continued to work for Banyan as a Child outpatient therapist and intake specialist. As a mother of three, I am deeply committed to family and believe that "family over everything" is the foundation of my personal and professional life. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, spending time with my husband and three children, going to the beach and embracing the vibrant energy of my Miami roots.

As a clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with culturally, economically and ethnically diverse individuals, families, couples and groups from all walks of life. I have practiced domestically and internationally including, NYC, California and most recently in Dublin, Ireland. (Please note that I am only taking tele-therapy clients and use a HIPPA approved site. I have found using tele-therapy to be very convenient for clients with challenging schedules). I have extensive knowledge and training related to gender identity, sexuality, non-traditional relationships; i.e. polyamory/open relationships, as well as expertise and personal experience with personality disorders including: Narcissism; Borderline; Avoidant; Antisocial and the emotional trauma experienced in relationships with people affected by these mental health issues.

I believe that compassion is the key to helping us along our healing journeys. When you feel as though your old ways of coping are no longer working, I am here to help you develop new skills, perspectives and confidence in the change you create based on my 9 years of experience. I collaborate with you to create a strengths based personalized path to recovery using a variety of methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness.

I graduated in 1999 with a degree in counseling from Portland State University. I interned couple thousand hours, then took a quick 20 years away. I received my LMHC (License Mental Health Counselor) cert at the beginning of 2024. I'm well versed counselor, with specific training in dealing with trauma and non-traditional couples. I like using an eclectic style, picking the strategies and tools from all around, to provide the best service to my client.
