I am licensed in Florida with over 6 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping young adults and adults cope with life stressors, anxiety, anger management and depression. I am passionate about what I do and have received many, many feedbacks over the years from satisfied clients who have achieved their goals and is living a more fulfilled life.
I am a bilingual (Portuguese and English) holistic psychotherapist licensed in Georgia with 7 years of professional work experience. I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, depression, self-esteem, and self-confidence. I integrate holistic health, a mind and body approach, and mindfulness into talk therapy to help individuals regain clarity and enthusiasm. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
Since becoming a counselor, I have worked in a variety of community counseling settings. I have worked with clients from ages 3 through 80 and with individuals, couples, and families. With that breadth of experience, very little shocks or surprises me and I have gotten a pretty good sense of where the types of counseling that play to my strengths as a counselor overlap with the types of counseling that are helpful for my clients. This sense (along with learning about lots and lots of research into what helps people find and maintain mental health) has led to the following guiding principles that shape all the counseling I do:
1) The client is always in charge. I know a lot of things but you will always be the one who decides what you want to get out of counseling, how we work towards that goal, whether or not what we’re doing seems to be working, and when we’re done.
2) Change and health happen through relationships. No matter what you come in for, there are always relational implications of change and relational factors that contribute to whatever it is that you came to counseling to change.
3) Counseling should be efficient. Counseling has significant costs in time and money. I think the benefits far outweigh the costs but if I can give you the benefits while helping you save on the costs then I want to do that.
Hi! I'm Eileen.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship issues? Since the onslaught of Covid 19, many people have presented with anxiety and depression who have never had symptoms in the past. We have experienced a time of uncertainty unknown to us. I empower clients of all ages to manage anxiety and depression, as well as provide tools to help. Some of my modalities include Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Psychotherapy. An integrated approach can be used as well. I have been described as a good, caring, sensitive, and energetic listener. I love being a therapist and enjoy seeing my clients grow over time due to putting in the necessary work.
I have a background in Strategic Intervention Life Coaching and integrate the methods I used successfully in my Life Coaching business into my therapy sessions with my clients in helping them to clarify their goals, identify obstacles holding them back, and then along with the client, help them come up with strategies for overcoming the obstacles.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with YOU!!

I think one of the most important parts of therapy is finding the right "fit". That relationship is key in helping grow, trust and meet any goals that you might have going into the therapeutic process. Let me give you a glimpse of who I am!
I'm Amy, a LMHC, who has been in the counseling world for over 15 years and love what I get to do. I started my career in the community health sector which I learned so much and worked with diverse groups of people with an array of various needs. I have worked in school settings as well as in homes. I have been deep within the community in many of my roles along the way.
I have developed many techniques along the way as not one intervention will work for everyone. Some of the modalities I use are EMDR, CBT, Motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques as well as a combination of these.
I meet people where they are, maybe having to learn how they are even feeling let alone how to cope with that feeling. Maybe we have a tool, but if no one ever took the time to teach us, then what good is that tool?
I received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida and have 10 + years’ experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Most of my experience is dealing with women’s issues and how voice is found in a paternalistic society. I use a Family Systems lens as we bring our family with us even when we come as individuals.
In my work with clients, I create a space of openness and acceptance as to what is present in the client’s life. I believe that clients have an innate ability to create healing for themselves, and I shepherd that process. I use a Mindfulness-Based Awareness practice and a participatory approach - to create solutions.
As a client commits themselves to the process, they can expect increased awareness and see themselves and their issues more clearly. This awareness oftentimes brings with it a heightened ability to solve issues that are creating roadblocks.
Seasoned Catholic Perspective with 30 Years of Experience Most Major Insurances Accepted via Telehealth
I integrate clinical expertise and our shared faith to accompany you towards becoming fully alive. While I am physically located in the Florida Panhandle, I provide specialized telehealth counseling to individuals and couples throughout the state of Florida.
(I offer a 'fit-first' approach. If we discover within the first 15 minutes of our initial session that we aren't a good match, the session will be concluded at no cost to you.)

A counseling relationship is often necessary to effectuate meaningful change--identifying and interrupting maladaptive patterns and building new ones. We’ll examine your history, resolve current challenges, and map a clear path to your goals. I specialize in brief, focused therapy that can result in relief from depression and anxiety, plus targeted treatment for accumulated trauma (combat, childhood physical/sexual abuse, emotional neglect, poverty, loss).
Kind Regards,
Silvio

After having a career in the medical and academic fields, I went back to college to earn my MSW and LCSW. My focus was to develop the skills necessary to help people in my community. My mission is to give back to the community and to help those who need to overcome the paralyzing effects of depression, anxiety, and dysfunctional thinking rather caused by academic stress/change, a medical condition, relationship issues or life stresses. People suffering from depression, anxiety, panic, and OCD are often not only battling the disease but also its impact on their families. The impacts are great. The impact can be job loss or change, financial issues, marriage difficulties, or family dynamic shifts. Most patients have one or more of these impacts to deal with at the same time they are dealing with their condition. The combination can be very overwhelming and difficult to understand. My focus is to help my clients learn to cope with the new challenges of their condition. Together, we will explore the tools that can be used to learn to cope. I believe that together we can make a very difficult time easier

We all develop behaviors to navigate life’s challenges. Some help us feel comfortable or seen, while others are employed as survival mechanisms. A behavior will only work for us until it no longer serves us; what succeeded in one setting may fail in another. They are not one size fits all. My goal in working with a client is to help them see the difference, meet it with curiosity, and then move towards which behaviors need adjusting. In a world rewarding performance, we cut through the noise so you can embrace who you are, not who you feel you are expected to be.

I understand the importance of entering therapy with a counselor who offers genuine compassion and care as well as a transparent explanation of the therapeutic process. I strive to ensure clients feel understood, supported and engaged throughout their individual therapeutic journey. The pursuit of healing and inner growth is an arduous yet worthy investment, and I am honored that you’re considering me to walk alongside you as you heal and grow.

In my free time I enjoy engaging my dog, Angel, in canine enrichment games, thrifting, hiking and dancing to live music.
Hello my name is Christian. I have been a therapist for almost 19 years now. I began this journey because of my own upbringing and experiences throughout my life. I have had my own personal array of issues with mental health and addiction within my family and friends. My life was once a mess and now I love my life, and I am mostly a very happy and fulfilled man. The only way that this happened for me was through therapy and being heard and seen by others. I love to help other people find their own peace of mind and happiness.

I'd like to introduce myself to help you feel a little more comfortable. I am a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been in practice for 10 years and have served in inpatient, outpatient, and community health settings.
I am most passionate about working with adults and elders who suffer from anxiety, depression, and life stressors such as breakups, loneliness, fear, grief/loss, aging, insecurity, attachment issues, career challenges, adjustment issues and just general "I don't know what I'm doing with my life."
I continue to attend trainings to be an informed therapist. I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
*I always offer the opportunity to have a free 15-minute phone consultation - PRIOR - to scheduling your intake session to answer any questions you may have and see if I am a good fit for you.
