Hi! I am a dually licensed therapist in both Florida and North Carolina. I began my education later in my adult life, and believed I had arrived late to the game. I believe in using a collaborative approach in helping my clients. I use evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Therapy, as well as Christian Counseling. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with several years of experience and a Doctorate in Counseling from Liberty University. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients across the lifespan, including children, teens, and adults. I’m certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, and I integrate mindfulness as a core component of my therapeutic approach. I hold specialized certifications in treating anxiety, depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), with a particular focus on working with veterans. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCPT). My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space that fosters trust and open communication. Together, we’ll develop a comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and symptoms. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy reading and traveling with my husband.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working as a therapist for over 15 years in different settings. My experience includes working with children, traumatic brain injury patients, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings in the community, including a variety of diagnoses. My therapeutic style is centered on respect and compassion. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have been in the field, helping people make positive changes in their lives for 11 years; 7 as a Case Manager and 5 as a Clinician. I have experience working with population suffering from: substance abuse, trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, abuse, Domestic Violence, codependency issues, relationship struggles, self- esteem issues, communication, parenting, and open to working with anyone wanting to work with me.
What typically surprises people is that I am the 11th of 13 children - all from the same parents. Growing up with so many siblings has given me a great opportunity to learn about family dynamics and effective discipline. My parents did a great job of maintaining a safe and well-behaved home, and I use their example as a template while also incorporating my own experience as a parent for working with families today.
As for my approach to therapy, I use several different theories depending on the need of the client; however, my primary mode is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It just fits my personality. If you are looking for a therapist who focuses solely on your emotions and how you're feeling on any given day, then I will not be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for a therapist who not only does all that but who will also listen to everything you say (as well as the meaning behind what you say) and then challenge your thinking habits to help you find more effective and productive thinking patterns, then I'm on board for that. I learned a long time ago that many clients do not want things "Sugar Coated", but rather prefer their therapist to be respectfully bold and blunt. If this is who you are looking for in a therapist, then let's get to work.

As a Christian woman, you want a therapist who understands both your faith and your struggles without judgement. I help women who feel anxious, overwhelmed, and unlike themselves find steadiness in their emotions, their relationships, and their walk with God.
Maybe you’ve noticed changes in your mood, find yourself overthinking, or have questions about relationships that matter to you. It could be that you are going through a difficult season, hormonal changes related to perimenopause or PMDD, or due to memories and hurts that still affect you today. You may be telling yourself that if you prayed more or tried harder, you’d be fine. I hear this a lot. You’re not going crazy, and you’re not weak. What used to work just isn’t working right now.
As a bilingual (English & Español), licensed therapist with 20 years of experience, I’ve walked with many women of all ages through hard seasons. In our sessions, we’ll figure out what’s going on and work on practical ways to calm your mind, manage your emotions, and relate to yourself with great self-compassion.
As a Christian therapist, I can draw on biblical truths alongside proven approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, so your faith becomes part of your healing. If you’d rather keep faith out of our sessions, that’s completely okay too.

Hi there, I’m Britney.
Britney Henley-Philemond is a licensed mental health counselor in Port Saint Lucie, FL. If so, I am here to help provide you with direction and guidance. Do you struggle with developing structure in their life? If so, as your therapist, I will help you learn to focus on yourself. As your therapist I will help you develop positive coping skills to decrease anxiety, anger, and depression and become more aware of your triggers that lead to low self-esteem, anxiety, anger, and depression, substance abuse, and family problems. As your therapist, I will help you focus on finding solutions to your problems. As your therapist, I will help couples learn and implement communication strategies to help improve romantic relationships and marriages.
I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. While uncomfortable feelings might be a commonality (especially in today's world), I believe we are all individuals who learn, experience, and react to situations differently. One thing I know for sure, if everything was going "great" chances are you would not be reading this bio right now. BRAVO to you for taking this monumental step and investing in yourself!!!
Hi, I'm Masha Andreoni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 14+ years of professional/educational experience and 49+ years of lived experience. A majority of my work experience has been spent working with Veterans and Active Duty Reservists focusing on post deployment issues, substance use/abuse, and military sexual trauma. Today, I work with individuals/groups/families within a multitude of populations.
Most importantly, I do not believe that individuals fit snuggly into a particular mental health "box." For example, if diagnosed with PTSD... there is a good chance that anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present. If struggling with addictions...anxiety, depression insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present (you get it). My focus/goal is to understand where you are coming from, what you hope to achieve, avoid making any particular judgements/labels, and work together as we embrace this journey of solution focused change and betterment.
While I can take the time to tell you how my approach is warm, motivating, understanding, open....in the end, this is for you to decide. I can however assure you that regardless of diplomas achieved, I never stop pursuing education in this ever-changing field/world. I am here to be of service. With me comes my personality, knowledge, humor (when appropriate), and respect! Truly looking forward to working with you.
My name is Tahaji Smith. I am currently an MSW graduate, and an LCSW with 20+ years of public service experience. Previously, I worked for 17 years as an Emergency Public Safety Communications Operator for one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the nation, but I decided to pursue a career doing what I love…helping others become the best version of themselves.
I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I was informed when I first started in this field that the average time for people to stay in the field is two years. I am still in the field because helping others is more than a career choice for me, it is my passion in life. Helping others is a personal goal of mine. I look forward to the opportunity. I enjoy seeing people make positive changes in their lives. I have worked with families, couples, children, adolescents and teens, from various cultures and backgrounds. Each case and each client is unique in their way and each client is important.
My particular areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage counseling and family counseling. I refer to myself as a "simple-minded therapist" which means we will explore simple ways to address the presenting concerns because many times the solutions are so simple they can be easily overlooked. I am a firm believer that holding a conversation is more productive than expounding on theoretical approaches.

My goal is to help you feel more confident, balanced, and capable of moving forward in your life.
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing services in Illinois, Tennessee, and Florida. I've been working with children and adults since I received my Masters in Social Work in Iowa. I enjoy working with children, teenagers, and adults and have worked with clients through private mental health agencies, within the public school system, and through special education services.
My name is Algelis Gonzalez, though I am commonly known as Al. My motivation to become a therapist stems from my personal journey. Growing up in a Latino culture, I developed a curiosity about people both within my community and beyond. This curiosity has driven me to understand the reasons behind our behaviors, both positive and negative. Throughout my career as a therapist, I continue to learn and grow, drawing from the vast knowledge available in the field.
I am deeply committed to helping my clients embrace their true selves, regardless of their personality traits—whether they are humorous, quiet and shy, hesitant to trust, or feeling frustrated with the world. I believe that everyone is welcome in my practice. Recognizing that none of us are perfect and that we are all striving to make sense of life’s complexities, I focus on exploring my clients’ experiences with respect and understanding. My goal is to facilitate their growth in ways they may not have previously thought possible.
This Journey is all about YOU!

I work with adult clients offering a warm, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy.
My areas of focus include helping clients navigate difficult life transitions, manage anxiety, cope with depression, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and my role is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and develop effective tools for lasting change.
Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply seeking greater balance and well-being, I am here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
