Qualified Supervisor Mental Health Counseling My name is Billie and I am a licensed mental health counselor and a qualified supervisor mental health counseling, I am committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, develop resilience, and work toward acceptance and wholeness. With over 10 years of experience in the field, I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, phase of life issues, and perinatal mental health. My approach is client centered, integrative, and evidenced based, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. I believe in a collaborative partnership with clients, walking side by side with clients toward healing and wholeness and offering practical strategies to create meaningful change. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family, reading and traveling.
The first session will focus on establishing a safe and supportive environment, and exploring the client's presenting concerns.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to work collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are and helping them feel heard supported and involved in therapeutic process.
Adults or older teens interested in exploring their personal barriers to growth. The barriers might include unresolved trauma, depression, maladaptive coping mechanisms etc. Client's who are going through a big life transition, that can include graduating, moving, changing jobs, starting a family, leaving a relationship or retiring. Some therapy goals might be personal growth and awareness, reduction of symptoms related to PTSD, anxiety, depression etc. and ultimately gaining better understanding of self and implementing adaptive coping mechanisms for an overall healthier self.
