I know a lot of things but you will always be the one who decides what you want to get out of counseling, how we work towards that goal, whether or not what we’re doing seems to be working, and when we’re done. 2) Change and health happen through relationships. No matter what you come in for, there are always relational implications of change and relational factors that contribute to whatever it is that you came to counseling to change. 3) Counseling should be efficient. Counseling has significant costs in time and money. I think the benefits far outweigh the costs but if I can give you the benefits while helping you save on the costs then I want to do that.

I began my work in the field in 2007 and have been fully licensed since 2017. I consider myself to be an exceptionally empathetic and caring counselor who meets my clients where they're at. I will push my clients to experience emotions and to sit with them in ways they haven't before. However, I do this in a safe manner where we simply expand the limits each time and create safety in each session to fully allow the client to embrace the process. I strive to help my clients make sense of their life and the experiences they've had. I have great respect for each individual's journey and understand there is value in all of us. I strive for all of my clients to feel seen, heard, respected, accepted, and not judged. From the very first session, my clients feel heard through my exceptional empathic listening skills. I ask evocative questions to get to the heart of the matter and to push the client to think more in depth and perhaps even with a different perspective about struggles or experiences that have caused them strife.

It is time to invest yourself! The first step to changing our circumstances is acknowledging something isn’t working. The process of change takes courage. My approach in counseling is to create an encouraging environment which my clients can find the strength to make those first steps into the unknown. I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a bachelors degree in science of psychology and a minor in communication. I then went on to receive a Masters degree in counseling from Webster University. After my education I went on to gain clinical experience in many different areas over the next 18 years including, but not limited to inpatient psychiatric facilities, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, group therapy, marriage and family counseling, individual counseling, and substance abuse counseling. Licensed in the state of FLorida (MH10911) as a mental health counselor, I aim to provide quality care. I specialize in couples counseling, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, mens issues, family therapy, job stress, interpersonal issues, child therapy, and most other conditions.
