Even though I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I work with all kinds of people. I have a lot of experience helping men and women who are married or dating each other, as well as people from different backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ folks. My way of helping is gentle, caring, and never judgmental. When you’re stressed out, anxious, or overwhelmed, I help you slow down, breathe, and see what’s really going on. We’ll talk through your worries and pain, and I’ll give you tools you can use right away to feel calm and in control. Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing for several years. I work with children, teens, and young adults who are navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered to build healthier coping skills, improve communication, and develop greater self-awareness. Together, we work toward feeling more confident, connected, and emotionally balanced.

2024 is my 25th year as a social worker, clinical therapist, educator, supervisor, and leader committed to support vulnerable populations. My Social Work career was initiated by my passion to support those within vulnerable populations, specifically within the child welfare system. I began my career as a Social Worker working within the Child Welfare system in New York City. In 2003, I relocated to Charlotte, NC and continued my work within Child Welfare as a Child Protective Services Social Worker. In 2008, I obtained my clinical licensure which initiated my move from providing direct clinical services to children, young adults and families.
