Psychotherapy provides a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore life’s challenges, emotions, and transitions. My goal is to create a safe environment where you feel understood and empowered as we work together to identify your strengths, deepen your self-awareness, and develop effective coping skills. Through this process, we’ll focus on personal growth, resilience, and the tools needed to navigate change with confidence. I was born in Brazil and have also lived in Switzerland, Ecuador, and now the United States. These experiences have shaped my worldview and help me bring a multicultural and compassionate perspective to my work. Given my background, I’m fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and value creating meaningful connections with clients from all backgrounds. Outside of my practice, I’m passionate about exploring cultures through travel. I’ve had the opportunity to visit 30 countries so far. I also enjoy discovering new foods, exercise and spending sunny weekends outdoors in Florida. As a therapist, I’m known for being empathetic, authentic, and attuned to my clients’ needs. I believe everyone possesses inner strengths and resources that, when nurtured, can help overcome challenges and foster meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
I incorporate positive psychology in my practice by helping clients identify and build on their strengths, cultivate gratitude, and develop resilience to enhance overall well-being and life satisfaction.
I use Motivational Interviewing to empower clients by creating a supportive space where they can explore what truly matters to them, build confidence in their strengths, and take meaningful steps toward the changes they want to make in their lives.

Marcella is wonderful! She is so kind and patient in every session. She takes the time to listen to everything I have to say and gives great feedback as well as solutions and things to work on outside of therapy. She does a great job of making me feel heard, acknowledging my feelings and giving me different perspectives and ways to look at varying situations.

Very inviting personality. She immediately makes you feel comfortable sharing what’s on your mind. She will make conversation with you and extract answers just by asking the right questions. She has helped me learn more about myself as well. Amazing therapist.
