Hello, my name is David Ramey, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I specialize in providing mental health support, counseling, and guidance to individuals, families, and communities. With a strong foundation in clinical training and a passion for helping others, I work to empower clients through evidence-based practices, empathy, and personalized care. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with British Caribbean roots and from the tail end of the baby boomer generation, I have come to acknowledge the roller-coaster ride that life offers with numerous highs, lows, and constant cycles of new beginnings and closures. My career in the mental health profession began to take shape in 2012, which led me to secure a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the esteemed University of South Florida. Since 2014, my focus has been on supporting children, individuals, and families in Florida and the Caribbean. The unprecedented emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 disrupted our social lives drastically, prompting an increased need for virtual counseling. However, I managed to adapt to this change in my practice, thus registering continuous growth in the Telehealth space from then onward. My practice now serves the wider population.

In our quest to achieve this stability, we look outside ourselves, and we, unfortunately, are still experiencing feelings and a sense of emptiness within us. It is not until we truly start the journey of the inner search when the magic begins to happen, and let me tell you, I am here to guide and support you through this journey. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1998. I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, where I completed my bachelor’s in Clinical Psychology and later in Florida earned my Master’s in Science from Carlos Albizu University in 1995. I am offering you more than 30 years of experience with conventional and alternative emotional and mental healing modalities. Through the use of experiential exercises, I will encourage and support you to develop effective coping strategies for dealing with the pressures of daily life, reducing stress and anxiety, and bringing wellness overall. Within my clients, I assist in finding and rediscovering their inner strengths that ultimately provide the needed coping skills. There are many activities I enjoy in my day-to-day life, and some of them are: meditating, reading, cooking vegetarian dishes, traveling, also enjoying the family, especially the kids, likes taking walks by the beach, and experiencing sunrise and sunsets. My hope for helping humanity is to bring lightness to work with my clients in these difficult times. With the basis of understanding that everyone’s experience is unique, I work step by step with each individual to establish a clear path in the direction of feeling better, making progress towards healing, and improving overall wellbeing, one person at a time.

Hi, I am Dana Adams, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Qualified Supervisor (QS), and founder of Healing Hacienda, LLC based in Trinity, Florida. I earned my bachelor's and master's degree at the University of South Florida and have been practicing clinical social work and providing therapy in the community for the past 15 years. I have extensive training and experience in providing therapy to those who have experienced trauma and the effects of trauma including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief and loss, abuse and neglect, stress and life transitions, and the child welfare system.
