My goal is to support each client in finding a sense of peace, empowerment, and renewed well-being.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I have been in the field for the past 12 years. I am passionate about serving clients who are ready to create change, learning new coping tools, heal from past experiences, improve relationships, or find more confidence and peace in the daily hustle and bustle of life.
Together we will work to uncover strengths, build resilience, and create practical steps towards the goals that matter most to you. My aim is to assist you in becoming the best versions of yourself while you are learning to navigate life's challenges. Ultimately, I want to make a positive impact on the lives of everyone I work with.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 34 years of professional experience providing psychotherapy services. I speak English and Spanish. I provide my clients with a unique approach, helping them to identify and achieve specific therapy goals in a confidential, empathetic, and trusting atmosphere. I help individuals understand their current circumstances in order to make changes that will have lasting positive effects. I use an Insight approach, where I help, a better understanding of themselves, which leads to “individualized solutions”. My treatment approach is short-term, problem-oriented therapy sustained by my psychoanalytic background i. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psycho-educational, and humanistic modalities, as well as evidence-based techniques. I strive to create a balance within my therapeutic approach based on my client’s particular needs and preferences. I have had the honor to serve a diversity of individuals and their families in a variety of settings, such as community mental health, crisis helplines, and outpatient programs (in a hospital setting). This was the first step. This is a safe space where you can create a vision for your life, along with an action plan and strategies for how to achieve your goals once you have identified them. I will support you and encourage you to find your ambition and desire and ways to realize your possibilities.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or emotionally exhausted from constantly caring for others while neglecting their own needs. If you’re caring for an aging parent, spouse, or another loved one over the age of 18, you don’t have to carry that stress alone.
My name is Clint, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Florida and Alabama. I specialize in supporting caregivers of older adults and individuals with disabilities over the age of 18 who may be struggling with burnout, anxiety, guilt, stress, or feeling emotionally drained.
As a former primary caregiver for my father, I understand firsthand the emotional and practical challenges caregiving can bring. Balancing medical appointments, family responsibilities, work demands, and the emotional weight of supporting a loved one can leave little time to care for yourself. Since 2011, I’ve worked alongside caregivers and families to help reduce burnout, build healthier boundaries, improve coping skills, and create more balance in daily life.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on practical tools you can use outside of sessions. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and supportive therapy to help clients manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, and reconnect with their own well-being.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. The first session is simply an opportunity for us to talk about what’s been weighing on you and explore whether working together feels like a good fit — with no pressure or expectations.
If you’re ready for support, I’d be honored to work alongside you.
Welcome to The Listening Room, where silence speaks volumes.
We provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for adults, couples, and families navigating life’s most meaningful and challenging transitions. Whether you are facing relationship concerns, parenting challenges, maternal or paternal mental health concerns, family conflict, or court-ordered treatment, our goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
At The Listening Room, we believe healing begins with being truly listened to. Together, we work toward meaningful change, healthier relationships, and lasting emotional well-being.

I have been a practicing social worker for more than 30 years . Much of this experience has been working in a large public teaching hospital in Miami, Florida. The scope of service that the hospital provides is quite comprehensive which afforded me opportunities to work with a very diverse population . i have counseled patients and their families dealing with a variety of illnesses, both physical and mental health, survivors of sexual assault, and also providing counseling to patients in a correctional setting. I like challenging situations. My style of counseling is very eclectic, depends on the client and their unique set of problems. This can range from client centered, solution oriented or cognitive behavioral as many people are coming to therapy to learn new ways of thinking and alternative coping strategies.
For the past two years, I have been involved in teletherapy providing psychotherapy to clients that are experiencing such problems as anxiety, depression, employment, relationship, and interpersonal difficulties. Also I have been providing counseling to teenagers dealing with the above issues and involving their parents when indicated.

Well, here’s the good news! Therapy with me is conducted within a safe, judgment-free space, where I provide opportunities for you to face those challenges and express those feelings. . I believe in the power of faith to guide healing, and I am honored to walk alongside individuals who desire therapy that aligns with their beliefs. I’m Anna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I help people move from overwhelmed to grounded, often in just a few sessions. I know life can feel heavy — between stress, anxiety, grief, and the everyday demands that pile up — and my role is to create a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to carry it alone. Together, we’ll uncover practical tools and meaningful insights that actually stick, so you can feel lighter, calmer, and more in control of your life. My goal isn’t just short-term relief, but lasting change that helps you move forward with clarity and confidence
I am a Licensed Mental Health Provider/ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida. I graduated with a Master in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from Florida Gulf Coast University. Before my studies at FGCU, I was in the rental business and felt that I was in my calling when I did volunteer work helping people in the US and abroad. After much thought and consulting with family and friends, I decided I wanted to work more hands on helping hurting people through counseling. My philosophy is ultimately to make a difference in the world by helping hurting people.
When life gives us the unexpected sometimes, we need support systems that may seem untraditional to some. As a therapist, I welcome all the doubts that you may have about engaging in the therapeutic process. Therapy is a partnership, meaning I will be there to motivate and challenge you to arrive at the desired outcome. Most of my career has had a focus on working with individuals who suffer from dual diagnosis, trauma, and poor coping skills. Each treatment plan is developed personally for each individual meeting their own personal needs. My primary treatment orientation includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I also have a passion for working with those suffering from burnout in the workplace and those seeking personal self-care plans. My interaction from beginning to end will also include trauma-informed care. I thank you in advance for letting me help you achieve one of your many goals in life, freedom from the bondage that is holding you from your peace!

Hello! I began my social work journey in 2006 and have been working in the mental health field since I obtained my MSW in 2008. As a clinical social worker I have thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of helping individuals identify and address many mental health concerns and move towards the life they most desire. I am passionate about addressing the stigma around addictions and serious mental illness and I believe the best way to begin any mental health journey of recovery is with compassion and understanding. I work from a cognitive-behavioral perspective and I use a strengths-based orientation of empowerment to foster growth and progress. I feel that we are already our best selves-we just need some help letting go of the survival skills we've taken on to get through the toughest times in our lives. I have spent several years working exclusively with homeless veterans and individuals struggling with addiction, and this has given me additional perspective and insight into the needs of some of our most vulnerable populations. I am an advocate, an accountability partner, an empath and your greatest cheerleader. I'm excited to help you rediscover your best self and to claim the life you deserve.

Nearly 20 years later, it is still a privilege to work with individuals, couples in various stages or phases of their relationship and families of all sizes.
I’m often looking for "the funny" in the moment and the world around me. I greatly enjoy sarcasm, snark, and satire. I'm fairly casual but have been told I "Clean up well", and clients have told me in the past they appreciate that I do not come across as "stuffy".
I daydream of going on cruises with my wife, occasionally think about bringing our children along. I treasure a long nap in a hammock, and I love movies. Once upon a time I even submitted a short film to the Cannes Film Festival (wasn't selected) but I did enter. Prior to being a therapist, I found myself listening and caring, as people would end up just talking to me and telling me their life story. I decided I should put that to good use. Growing up my family was fortunate to be able to adopt and quickly we became a larger family that could not remember there was a time when my sister had not been there. Through the process, I realized how important family and relationships.
Clinically, I work with a foundation of Solution Focus and Systemic Therapy, with attributes of Narrative, Structural and/or Strategic.
*** Writing animal support letters or ESA documentation, disability-related paperwork, court-mandated evaluations, divorce or custody agreement related paperwork would be out of the scope of my practice, therefore is not something I engage in at this time.

Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my Master's degree at Florida Atlantic University and have over 12 years of experience working with children, teens, adults and families. I truly want my clients to believe that they deserve help and the care for their mental health and wellbeing. I am here and ready to help you Find Your Light, your motivation or simply your hand so I can pull you through whatever you are struggling with. I have a toolbox of coping skills for you to learn about and practice so you can discover what works best for you.
I predominantly work with young men struggling with social anxiety disorder. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy for social anxiety because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, poor self-worth, and poor self-confidence. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfilling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!

Hello, my name is Dr. Jovanovic I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with over 16 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and pursuit of meaningful, values-based living. Drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I work in guiding clients toward greater psychological flexibility-learning to accept difficult thoughts and feelings rather then struggle against them, while committing to actions that align with what truly matters to you. In every session I bring a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental presence to every therapeutic relationship, creating a collaborative and open space where clients feel genuinely seen and accepted. At the heart of this work is a deep curiosity about each person's unique experience and an unwavering belief in their capacity for growth and change.
I think it is important for a therapist to be able to implement multiple approaches to the therapy process in order to best serve a client. I do predominantly utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches, but I may modify the approach to best meet your needs and goals. My main focus is helping you make progress and meet your identified goals.
I initially was drawn to being a therapist because I wanted to help others meet life's challenges and understand that sometimes we need a partner/support on that journey. I have worked with many different populations over the course of my career, including children, teens, adults, and seniors. Additionally, I have experience working in many different settings, including community mental health, inpatient mental health units, juvenile justice, nursing homes, and adult corrections. I believe these varied experiences and populations have helped to make me a well-rounded therapist.
I believe in the power of connection and provide a warm, comfortable environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. That said, I also know that growth often requires us to face hard truths and step outside our comfort zones. Together, we’ll work through difficult topics and push past barriers, with compassion and the insight needed to build healthier patterns and more meaningful relationships.

Hello! I am a LCSW licensed in Florida. I have 22 years experience in the field and 16 years post graduate from USF. When I share my personal journey to becoming a LCSW I always say this field chose me. The experiences I have had in this field are truly awe inspiring and life changing. I hope that through the connections I make with each client, that they leave feeling empowered and inspired that they can lead the life they desire and deserve.
I have experience working with survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, military related trauma. I also have experience with chronic illness and death and dying. I am passionate about creating a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals. I have worked with all ages during my career.
I currently focus on working with adults. I currently offer Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. They are empowerment based, placing you as the expert in the treatment room and of your own life. I am there merely as a guide to help you uncover your own potential and strengths.
I look forward to working with you.
