I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-QS) with over 10 years of experience helping teens and adults feel more grounded, confident, and empowered. Originally from New York and rooted in Caribbean culture, I've lived in Central Florida for several years and proudly serve clients across this community through different walks of life. My approach is honest, collaborative, and a little lighthearted when it fits. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, not a clinical checklist. I’ll meet you where you are, help you recognize what’s already working, and support you in building the changes you want to see. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), DBT skills, and trauma-informed care into a style that’s relatable, supportive, and focused on progress, not perfection. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, identity questions, or just trying to keep it together (when you feel everything is falling apart). I’m here to walk alongside you, judgment-free.

I received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida and have 10 + years’ experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Most of my experience is dealing with women’s issues and how voice is found in a paternalistic society. I use a Family Systems lens as we bring our family with us even when we come as individuals. In my work with clients, I create a space of openness and acceptance as to what is present in the client’s life. I believe that clients have an innate ability to create healing for themselves, and I shepherd that process. I use a Mindfulness-Based Awareness practice and a participatory approach - to create solutions. As a client commits themselves to the process, they can expect increased awareness and see themselves and their issues more clearly. This awareness oftentimes brings with it a heightened ability to solve issues that are creating roadblocks.

Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep. I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for many years. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people. I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people like working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected and I am even able to do hypnosis via telehealth.

Hi, I'm Harlan. I specialize in working with combat veterans, healthcare workers, and first responders. Spending time in high stakes situations—where awful things happen without notice, and errors can have major consequences—often impacts the spirit and the nervous system. If you're having problems with intrusive memories, trouble sleeping, anger, feeling mistrustful and on guard where you used to feel safe, nightmares, anxiety, etc., I can help. There are some hard experiences in life from which we can recover well on our own, and there are others where we are most likely to heal and recover well with skilled emotional/psychological support.

Any requests for additional administrative services like disability certification and special accommodations (such as Emotional Support Animals letters) related to a psychological condition will have to be provided by another mental health provider. Short-term disability certification by Ms. Gonzalez will be limited to a period of time not to exceed 4 weeks, at which time those determinations will also have to be made by another mental health provider. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida since March 2007. I have over 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy and assessing adults, families and children in multiple settings. I consider myself skilled using a variety of clinical interventions (expressive arts with cognitive-behavioral, client-centered and trauma-informed approaches) in three languages: English, Spanish and French. I am a Colombian born immigrant who came to the US to further my education and practice as a psychotherapist. During my years of experience in psychotherapy I learned to incorporate the creative side of the human brain to facilitate expression and better flow the emotional communication. I have helped many people work through coping with life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma and other multiple issues... I thrive in connecting with the person and developing trust, hope and faith in the therapeutic -and creative- process. My main focus is to provide a safe space for open conversations -via TeleHealth or in office- that allow the person to find their own path towards growing and healing. It takes courage to face our psychological challenges AND to take the first steps towards change, if you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you all the way!
