Hi there, I am Vivianna. I am a compassionate and highly skilled clinical therapist dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth. My experience in working with diverse populations allows me to address a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Through active listening and empathetic understanding, I empower my clients to gain insights into their behaviors and patterns, fostering resilience and self-awareness. With my guidance, individuals and couples can find the strength to overcome obstacles and embrace a more fulfilling and meaningful life. As an English and Spanish-speaking therapist, I've provided mental health services for over 15 years specializing in couples therapy, for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I earned my Master of Psychology degree with a specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy from Carlos Albizu University. I am licensed in the State of Florida as a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Insight and the skills to be the best version of themselves. My approach to therapy is providing clients with a safe and non-judgmental space. Counseling can be done in Spanish or English.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working clients that are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck and overwhelmed in different areas of their life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help young adults, trauma survivors, and couples make sense of what they’re going through and take steps toward real change. CBT is all about understanding how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected—and learning how to shift unhelpful patterns. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, past trauma, or relationship struggles, I offer a supportive space where we can work together on practical tools that actually make a difference in your day-to-day life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, which means I focus on creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood. I believe that you’re the expert on your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you explore what’s getting in the way of feeling more fulfilled, connected, or at peace. Whether you're a young adult figuring things out, an adult facing life changes, or a couple wanting to reconnect, I bring empathy, authenticity, and a deep respect for your unique process into every session.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my work with young adults, adults, and couples, I often use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients tap into their strengths and start making meaningful changes—often sooner than they expect. This approach is all about focusing on what’s working, identifying clear goals, and building on small steps that lead to big shifts. I bring a practical, supportive, and down-to-earth style to sessions, helping you move forward with clarity and confidence, whether you're navigating personal challenges or relationship dynamics.

Couples Counseling

In my work with couples, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches—including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and Solution-Focused Therapy—to support partners in improving communication, rebuilding trust, and deepening connection. I tailor each session to fit your unique relationship dynamics, whether you're navigating conflict, life transitions, or just feeling stuck. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where both partners feel heard and supported as we work together toward a stronger, more fulfilling relationship. With experience across diverse couples and challenges, I focus on practical tools and real conversations that help create lasting change.
