As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida, I enjoy working with my clients while building their self-esteem and helping them in navigating life transitions. Some of these life transitions my clients may find themselves navigating is life after high school, life during and after college, deciding on a career, or even working through relationships with others and themselves. In addition, I enjoy working with my clients to learn how to cope and manage stress and anxiety. Through my years as a marriage and family therapist, I have learned and utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tools and implement them when working with my clients to cope with and manage anxiety.

I'm not your typical therapist. I do very, very advanced work based upon the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction states that whatever we focus on, we attract to us, whatever we fear, we welcome into our lives. The support I offer is about letting go of the fears. I'm Kelly, and I'm a certified Infinite Possibilities facilitator, Compassion Key expert, Healthy boundaries specialist, and Breathwork practitioner. I work with clients ready to let go of all limitations and enter endless possibilities of growth and expansion. In sessions with me, we don't give time or energy to the negative. We focus solely on solutions and forward momentum. I work with clients who are excited about homework between sessions and keeping the momentum flowing. I work with clients who take full responsibility for their own growth. We may go through the Infinite Possibilities curriculum, remove blocks and focus on what you're creating in your life. I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida with three years of professional experience. I have experience in assisting the client in managing their stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, helping them to increase their self-esteem, their confidence and their motivation. In addition, I am well-versed in assisting clients with depression. I believe that you are the writer of your story which means you have the power to create your desired outcome, and you have what it takes to overcome the challenges and obstacles that can keep you from reaching your goals and dreams. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida (MH23088) and hold credentials as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 1 and 2 (CCTP I/II), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Trained Professional. I have attended a variety of therapeutic and counseling trainings in treating post-traumatic stress disorders and complex traumas, anxiety and depression, grief, obsessive thinking, attachment disorders, somatic work, inner child healing, shadow work, resiliency, teletherapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and in 2019 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been practicing and seeing clients ever since. I have over ten years of experience working in the mental health field. While working on my education, I began gaining experience in the field in 2014, working with toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults in crisis units, youth shelters, abuse and trauma treatment centers, and the school system before beginning my private practice in 2021. I currently specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and grief with adolescents and adults.

I find great satisfaction in helping others solve complex problems that can seem difficult to overcome. My approach to problem-solving is ecelectic and I tailor my treatment plan to my patient's individual characteristics and needs. Within my practice, I see adults of all ages who are dealing with some sort of struggle. I enjoy working with young adults on issues related to personal growth and development. I also have considerable expertise in working with older adults who are dealing with cognitive or health issues, and their caregivers.

I have a Master's degree in clinical psychology, and am passionate about what I do. Helping clients reinvent, re signify and solve their own life problems is the best reward to my practice. I believe that the power of a good psychotherapy process lies in its ability to help my clients understand themselves better, address their emotional psychological challenges, and make meaningful changes in their lives. I also believe strongly in the transformative power of connection and communication, and know that psychotherapy is the key to evolve and learn new skills that may be hidden inside someone. I am simply a facilitator of my client's own awareness, their emotional healing, and their growth.
