Are you feeling overwhelmed with life? Anxiety – Stress – Worry? Self critical? Not wanting to face the day? Feeling sadness, disappointment and trouble focusing? As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have over 10 years working with a variety of people seeking help for anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, grief, and life transitions. A little bit about my style – My goal is to create a non-judgmental environment, that is safe, and supportive where you will feel heard. My approach is a mosaic of techniques to help people to focus on their strengths, developing skills to manage life challenges and get unstuck. Relocation, grief and loss, relationship struggles, childhood experiences, trauma, codependency, and addiction are sometimes slow to develop or can occur unexpectedly. My style utilizes evidenced based techniques to address thinking patterns and incorporates mindfulness, and media to spark discussion. “So grateful I found her. Pamela is extremely supportive, especially when I am having hard days. She is very encouraging and has been instrumental in helping me to manage my anxiety.” V.I. 4/27/2022

I'm Patt Somasri, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion and curiosity. I would like to create a welcoming, affirming space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. Therapy to me is about collaborating, and making personalized plan to match your unique needs. Rather than believing there is one "right" way to heal, you are in control of what "right" is for you. My therapy style is eclectic as I draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma and distressing memories.

Hello and welcome, I'm Ericka, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supporting people whose work—and often their identity—is centered on caring for others, until somewhere along the way they've lost sight of themselves. As both a therapist and clinical leader, I've spent years supporting the people others rely on most. I've learned that the people who seem strongest are often carrying the heaviest burdens, and too often, capable people mistake surviving for living. Whether your goal is to leave work at work, sleep through the night, stop feeling guilty for resting, or simply feel like yourself again, we'll work together to help you reconnect with the person beneath all the responsibility. Because the people everyone depends on deserve someone they can depend on, too.

Many Black men carry responsibility, emotion, and expectation without having a space to process what they’re carrying. Over time, this can show up as stress, anger, anxiety, or feeling worn down. I provide individual therapy for Black men and for adolescents who need a space where they are understood. I also help parents and caregivers — especially those raising Black and Brown boys and families in blended or co-parenting systems — build clarity, connection, and consistent discipline. believe healing is not about fixing what is “wrong,” but about building a kinder, more trusting relationship with yourself. I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating life transitions, issues around identity and self esteem, or feeling the lingering effects of traumatic experiences. Together we will work towards restoring a sense of grounding, choice, and self-compassion. With compassion and curiosity, the survival responses that once protected us can begin to soften opening the door to healing, thriving, and building a life lived with intention. My approach is heart centered and trauma informed. My work integrates EMDR (technique for reprocessing traumatic experiences), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). As a certified yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner, I value the body’s wisdom and may incorporate mindfulness or somatic awareness into our sessions. Whether you’re brand new to therapy or returning after time away, my hope is to offer a space that feels welcoming, supportive, and collaborative. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and I am here to help guide you along your healing journey to help you move towards your goals and a life that feels more authentic and aligned.

Is life feeling heavy right now? Does it feel like the harder you try, the more lost you become? When navigating a major life transition—like a recent loss, an empty nest, a career shift, or an ending relationship—your mind tries to think its way through the change, but your nervous system carries the actual burden. If you have spent months talking about your stress in therapy but your body still feels exhausted, anxious, or stuck, somatic work may be the missing piece. I provide a warm, gentle space specializing in somatic (body-centered) therapy and mindfulness for women experiencing: The heavy, physical ache of deep burnout and grief A constant tightness in the chest or unshakeable fatigue Feeling completely disconnected from your own body We won’t just analyze your overwhelm; we will work together to help your body safely release it. You don’t have to navigate this threshold alone. Let’s help you breathe a little deeper and feel truly grounded again. Please Note: I believe healing burnout starts with modeling it. I deliberately limit my client slots so I can show up with total clinical presence, depth, and intention—giving you a calm, grounded space to slow down and heal.

Hey there! It is so nice to meet you. I'm Tanya Parnes, and I have been working with clients for over 15 years to help them overcome obstacles in their paths, find ways through their stressors and identify the solutions they already had within but just couldn't see. When I work with clients they often say, they really enjoy feeling heard, understood and relieved to feel less alone. I meet with a lot of people who feel truly stuck in their circumstances, and just cannot see a way out. They often feel stressed, frustrated and lonely. Everything seems like too much and they cannot figure it out no matter how many ways they've tried. I believe it is completely possible to get out of the same cycles that plague you & keep you stuck on that never ending hamster wheel. It is not always easy, but the end rewards make up for it. Learning to let go, realizing there is a way forward and seeing a future without the problems that have been recurring where things are more manageable than ever before is my goal. My clinical skills and techniques will help you get there by learning tools that help you end those cycles and start living the life you have always wanted and dreamed of. Together, we will find better ways to handle difficulties and work through tough times redirecting energy and focus to things that are in your control which you have the power to change!

Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep. I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people. I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.
