My name is Romy Rodriguez and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have worked with various populations with mental health and substance abuse struggles. I also provided Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to adolescents and their families who were living in homeless shelters and were in the court system. I have also worked with women with Post-Partum depression and struggling with substance abuse.

In addition to my 10-plus years of clinical experience and I am also an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist, a credential that ensures the public I am uniquely qualified to treat a wide range of sexual issues. AASECT certification protects consumers by distinguishing those therapists who have achieved rigorous standards and the highest levels of clinical competence.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with expertise in Addiction Counseling, Relationships, Family Issues, Co-dependency, Bipolar, Anxiety and Anger Management. I have been in the field for over 30 years and have worked with an array of individuals and families. It is my mission to help another individual find the path to living a successful and healthy life. I have experience working with adolescents, adults and their families. Wanting to teach brought me to counseling, which ironically, has allowed me to explore the journey of life with those who seek guidance, and it is the aspect I perhaps love most about being a clinician.
