Hi. I am Victoria. I believe that we each have the power within us to heal, change and grow the life we’ve always imagined. But no one does this alone. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work and completed a Post-Master's Fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center. I have been a licensed clinician for 35 years. Hello, my name is Isabelle Cantave, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida. Originally from Haiti, I am fluent in both English and Kreyol, which allows me to connect with and support a diverse range of clients. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2018, and I have spent the past seven years helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful personal growth. My passion lies in empowering clients to uncover the best versions of themselves, find purpose in their experiences, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives
I am a master’s-trained clinician with over a decade of hands-on clinical experience. My work encompasses individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, manage or improve addictive behavior, emotional dysregulation and life transitions (including women's issues). My work is informed by formal training in EMDR as well as, traditional talk therapy with a strong foundation in CBT and DBT—but therapy with me isn’t about rigid techniques or worksheets for the sake of it.
I focus on helping clients understand why patterns exist, not just how to manage symptoms. EMDR allows us to work at the root level and utilize the integration of traditional talk therapy with CBT and DBT. Cognitive and Dialectical behavioral therapies provide practical tools for navigating daily life such as, mindfulness practices and working to defeat cognitive distortions that impact our relationships. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully, adapting the work to the person in front of me rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model.
Clients often describe my style as direct, solution focused, collaborative, and grounded. The bond that is created between us is the most important, and I believe meaningful change happens when therapy feels both safe, person centered and honest—where insight leads to action, and healing is something we actively build together.
Are you and your partner stuck in the same argument on repeat? Do small issues escalate quickly, leaving you feeling unheard, resentful, or emotionally disconnected?
I specialize in helping high-conflict couples repair communication or rebuild trust after infidelity, and navigate the added strain of ADHD within relationships. As a Gottman Level 2 trained therapist, I use structured, evidence-based strategies to help partners move from constant tension and defensiveness to productive dialogue and renewed emotional connection.
Many of the couples I work with feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure whether their relationship can recover. Together, we identify the patterns driving conflict, strengthen emotional safety, and build practical tools that create lasting change—not just temporary relief.
In addition to couples counseling, I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. As a former school-based therapist, I also help teens and families manage ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, and high-conflict family dynamics.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe you are the expert of your life. My role is to provide clarity, structure, and compassionate guidance as we work toward meaningful progress.
For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-informed therapy, integrating spiritual values into the healing process.
I provide telehealth therapy throughout Florida and accept major insurance plans. I currently have availability for new clients.

Hi, I’m a therapist who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical to be effective. I help people sort through stress, self-doubt, relationship tension, and life transitions—with clarity, compassion, and a healthy dose of humor. My clients often tell me they chose me because I feel relatable and real, and because I’m not afraid to laugh with them even when things are tough.
I’m straightforward and down-to-earth. I’ll meet you where you are without judgment, help you challenge what’s keeping you stuck, and walk alongside you as you make sense of what’s working—and what isn’t. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I believe in real conversations, real growth, and helping you feel like yourself again (or maybe for the first time).
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, or just trying to feel more grounded in your life, I’m here to help you reconnect with your strength, your clarity, and your sense of possibility.
You don’t have to be perfect or polished. Just bring yourself—we’ll take it from there.

My goal is to help you navigate the chaos, to be real with you, and to remind you that you don’t have to do it alone. Life is weird, therapy doesn’t have to be. Let’s figure it out together.

I help people reconnect with who they are beneath stress, trauma, and life transitions. Therapy with me focuses on resolving the experiences and patterns that block joy, clarity, and self-trust so you can move forward on your own terms. My goal is to help you build balance across mind, body, and nervous system while developing practical skills that support long-term change.
I offer a unique experience of integrative, interactive, and holistic therapy style that blends modern psychology with mind–body approaches. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Adlerian principles, neuroscience, developmental psychology, Brainspotting, mindfulness, meditation, yoga philosophy, Ayurveda and wellness-based strategies. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual — combining practical tools, emotional healing, and insight so that therapy is both grounded and transformative.
With sensitivity, patience, we will work collaboratively to strengthen your resilience, process trauma and restore a sense of steadiness and joy.
I am a committed Christian. My wife and I have been married for over 30 years during which we successfully raised three children. I am a US Air Force veteran (23 years), a retired DoD Civil Service veteran (15 years), and I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for 10 years. I have lived in the Clearwater area for 20+ years. I have a lot of experience working with clients struggling with addiction (residential, IOP, private practice) and trauma. Plus, I have successfully helped many clients sort out mental health distress associated with anxiety, depression, grief.
My approach to therapy is solution-focused and practical. While talking things through is important, I also believe therapy should help you build tools you can actually use in your everyday life. Together, we focus on what’s happening right now and look for realistic ways to make things feel more manageable.
I often incorporate mindfulness in a grounded, approachable way. This isn’t about doing it perfectly or trying to feel calm all the time. It’s about learning how to notice what’s going on inside you, slow things down, and respond with more intention rather than reacting on autopilot.
Above all, I care about the relationship we build. I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where trust can grow and you can show up as you are. Therapy with me is a partnership, and we work at a pace that feels right for you, safe and respectful.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida with over 10 years of experience. I care deeply about creating a space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and truly heard. Therapy with me is very collaborative, and we move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
I believe deeply that no two people have the same mind. We all have different brains shaped by our experiences, relationships, and nervous systems. In therapy, I come from a place of curiosity and respect for your unique way of thinking and feeling. Rather than trying to change who you are, our work focuses on understanding your mind and developing empathy for it. From there, we can gently explore new ways of taking care of yourself that are more helpful, kind, and supportive.
I use a variety of evidence based approaches, including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I also pay close attention to the mind body connection and help clients notice how their thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences are connected, especially when shaped by stress, emotions and past experiences.
I do not believe therapy is about fixing you. Instead, it is a space to better understand yourself, build self compassion, and develop tools that support real and lasting change for YOUR brain and body. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more able to move through life with clarity and peace of mind.

Therapy is a journey and a team effort. My main goal is to help you recognize that the most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. Together we will work on attaining a better understanding of yourself, your goals, and values (connecting your body, mind, and soul), modifying your beliefs and behaviors, building or enhancing your relationship with others, and achieving your goals. I look forward to starting or continuing this journey with you.

Hi, I’m a therapist with 5 years of experience in the mental health field, including time spent working in a women’s correctional facility and supporting adolescents as a school social worker for the past 3 years. These roles have given me deep insight into the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing.
