LMFT, 13 years of experience

I’m a licensed therapist in both Pennsylvania and Florida, with over 13 years of experience walking alongside clients through life’s challenges. Over the years, I’ve supported people working through stress and anxiety, disordered eating, addictions, relationship struggles, trauma, abuse, and depression. One thing I believe deeply is that you are the expert of your own story. You already carry strengths within you—sometimes it just takes the right support to uncover and use them. That’s where I come in. My role is to help you tap into those strengths and build tools that make lasting change possible. Reaching out for help takes courage. It’s the first step toward creating a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and joyful. If you’re ready to start that journey, I’m here to support and empower you every step of the way.
We’ll start with a quick introduction to get comfortable, and then we’ll dive into what brought you here. This session is really about me getting to know you—your story, your goals, and the changes you’d like to see in your life. Together, we’ll also talk through what the counseling process will look like moving forward, so you feel clear and supported from the start. I especially enjoy working with adults who are ready for something different—people who are tired of feeling stuck, weighed down, or like they’ve tried everything but nothing seems to work. My clients are motivated to improve; they just need the right tools and guidance to turn that motivation into real, lasting change. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place. We’ll take this journey step by step—starting right where you are.
One of my greatest strengths as a clinician is my calm, grounding presence. Many of my clients have shared that this helps them feel safe, supported, and at ease during our sessions. I also bring a natural curiosity to my work—I ask thoughtful questions that invite deeper reflection and often spark meaningful growth. Together, this balance of calm and curiosity creates a space where real change can take root.
To individuals: First off—give yourself credit. You’ve already taken the hardest step: deciding to reach out for support. Starting therapy can feel empowering, confusing, even a little scary—and sometimes all three at once. That’s completely normal. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. Together, we’ll work through challenges like anxiety, depression, or difficulties with self-care. Along the way, I’ll help you practice setting healthy boundaries and communicating more confidently—with yourself and with the people around you—so you can start living with more balance and ease. Counseling isn’t just about working through struggles—it’s about growth. It’s about becoming the version of yourself you’ve been longing to step into, and building the life you know you deserve. If that’s what you’re ready for, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. When you’re ready to share, I’m here. To couples: Do you ever feel like you’re walking on eggshells around your partner? Maybe it feels like the smallest thing could spark an argument, or that the closeness you once had is slipping away. These feelings are more common than many couples realize—especially after big life transitions like moving in together, getting married, or having children. What often happens is that couples start avoiding conflict altogether. It feels safer in the moment, but over time, that avoidance can build resentment. And resentment almost always leads to more tension, more distance, and more fights. That’s where I come in. My work with couples is about creating a safe, supportive space where both partners can openly explore challenges, patterns, and concerns. Together, we’ll discover healthier ways to communicate, strengthen trust, and rebuild connection. If you’re ready to let go of the negative cycles, ease the conflict, and rediscover the joy of being together, I’d love to help. Reach out today, and let’s begin your journey toward a healthier, happier relationship.
Motivational interviewing (MI) is a client-centered therapeutic approach designed to help individuals resolve ambivalence and build motivation for change. It encourages collaboration between the therapist and client, rather than the therapist being in a position of authority. It’s meant to evoke intrinsic motivation from the client to make positive changes.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on helping individuals identify and change negative thought patterns, behaviors, and beliefs that contribute to emotional distress. The therapy is based on the idea that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected, and that by changing negative thinking, we can change our emotional responses and actions. In CBT, therapists work with clients to recognize distorted thinking, challenge these thoughts, and replace them with more realistic and balanced ones. The therapy often involves practical techniques like problem-solving, behavior modification, and relaxation exercises. It's typically short-term and goal-oriented, with the aim of equipping individuals with tools to cope with life's challenges.
Psychoeducation in therapy refers to the process of providing clients with information and education about their mental health, emotions, behaviors, and coping strategies. It aims to increase the client's understanding of their condition, help normalize their experiences, and empower them to make informed decisions about their treatment. By learning about their mental health, clients can better manage symptoms, understand underlying causes, and improve their overall well-being. Psychoeducation is often integrated into therapy sessions and can involve teaching skills for managing stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges.

I can't say enough great things about my experiences with Ashley. I feel like I've made a lot of progress in my life throughout my journey with her. I truly appreciate the input she's provided, as well as being an incredibly receptive listener when I'm articulating the chaos in my brain.

I initially read Ashley's biography and was interested, but I wasn't looking for couples or group therapy. However, I have been seeing her for a while now and I am so happy I met her. I have made more progress since seeing her than I have with any other provider in the past. She challenges and empowers me, while always keeping a solution-focused mindset. I always feel that she is genuine, and I appreciate her kind demeanor. She is truly excellent at her job.
