Hello, my name is Justine Nyman. I want to thank you for taking the time to seek support. It is not easy to reach out or even realize that counseling/support is needed. So, I welcome you to therapy. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I have 10 years' experience and continue to grow in my therapeutic approaches and my knowledge as a therapist. I create an environment where the client feels comfortable and open to emotional vulnerability. In order to express ourselves and be open with our struggles we need to feel comfortable in the therapeutic process. I use acceptance with my clients and don't judge them based on their history or their current choices. I want the client to feel that they can start their journey, set goals, use coping skills, and improve their overall well-being. Counseling is a process and takes time. Some individuals require more time than others and that is okay. I believe in moving with the pace of the client, through setting goals and practicing tools is essential for change. In order to feel change, we need to make changes in our everyday lives. If we don't initiate changes, it becomes a struggle to move forward. "Practice makes permanent" I look forward to working with you on your journey of growth, mastery, and success.

Hey there, I’m Dr. Gittelson (you can call me Dr. G. for short) and I'm a licensed clinical psychologist. I know how difficult it can be to start therapy, and if you are reading this then you have already taken a step to getting started and that is a huge win! Whether you are seeking therapy in-person or from the comfort of your couch (pet cameos are always welcome), I aim to create a space that is grounded, supportive, and free of judgement. I am so glad that you are here! If you’re interested, below is a little more about how I developed my clinical background and areas of training: My path in psychology began at Florida International University, where I earned my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. I later completed my Psy.D. at Nova Southeastern University, with training in neuropsychological assessment as well as clinical work in foster care and the dependency court system. During my doctoral internship at the Mental Health Center of Florida, I worked across community mental health, family court, and private clinical settings with a wide range of individuals and families. I went on to complete my postdoctoral fellowship at Alliance for Psychological Services, where I provided therapy and psychological assessments in forensic and high-intensity settings, including court-mandated work involving family court, dependency court, and the Department of Corrections. Today, I provide both therapy and psychological assessment. My clinical work often centers around anxiety, depression, trauma histories, life transitions, and complex family dynamics. I also have a strong interest in sports and performance psychology, particularly in supporting athletes and high-performing individuals who want to strengthen the connection between mental and physical performance.

Hello! I’m Dr. Robin Akdeniz. I am here to listen to you and to hear you, to explore your understanding of what is troubling you or getting in your way, with care, compassion, respect, and without judgment. Whether it is something you experience in relationship with yourself or with an emotion, with a partner, with family members or friends, at work or school, we will work together to help create shifts and to co-create ways to help you move forward toward solutions. With my education and experience as both a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed marriage and family therapist, I work from a systemic and relational lens. Seeing you in this way brings the issue into the relational space between you and your issue, or you and another person, or you and another system (work, school, etc.). Considering each person's uniqueness, the approach to working with you will be designed specifically to meet your unique needs and desires within your context. Our sessions can be individual or with others, depending on what is most useful for you in the moment. My solution-oriented relational approach incorporates mindfulness and utilizes your unique gifts, strengths, resources, resiliencies, special qualities, and talents to open space for possibilities to emerge so we can co-construct your desired future. I’m Anjalie Sukhwa, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, university professor, and PhD candidate who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, eating disorders and disordered eating, body image concerns, chronic health stress, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should help you better understand yourself while also giving you tools you can actually use outside of the therapy room. Together, we will look at the patterns contributing to your distress, strengthen emotional regulation, and explore healthier ways of relating to yourself, your body, and the people around you. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I also integrate a mind-body perspective when supporting clients with eating concerns, body image distress, chronic illness, and medical stress. Therapy is always tailored to your individual needs, values, relationships, identity, and cultural background. My style is supportive while also gently challenging. I will meet you with empathy and curiosity while helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is for you to feel understood, but also to leave therapy with greater self-awareness, practical skills, and a stronger sense of trust in yourself.

My name is Amanda Chilleme, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, as well as a Master’s Certified Addiction Professional. For over 11 years, I have supported individuals in identifying what truly matters to them, navigating obstacles, and building a foundation for a more fulfilling future. My primary specialty is working with men and women struggling with substance use disorders as well as process and behavioral addictions, helping them find a pathway to a life that feels less burdened and more aligned. I also have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, grief and bereavement, trauma, attachment concerns, and personality disorders. As a clinician, I take a human-focused approach. I am not here to tell you what you need to work on—you already know the what. My role is to help you understand the why, and ultimately the how: how to shift it, heal it, overcome it, or, when appropriate, let it go altogether. Your first session is best described as a two-way interview. As I listen to your story and your narrative begins to take shape, we collaboratively determine two things: Whether I am the right therapist for you, and Whether this therapeutic relationship is the right fit for both of us. If we decide to move forward together, identifying your goals becomes your first assignment. This process allows me to better understand how you think, how you interpret challenges, and how barriers such as stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship dynamics show up for you. From there, we focus on one goal at a time. I see myself as your coach, teammate, and cheerleader! Whether you are just beginning therapy or have been on this journey for some time, I invite you to plant that seed—and see just how beautifully you grow.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I moved to Florida from Nashville but have roots in Mississippi and Virginia. I graduated from the University of Phoenix in April of 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Administration. I used that degree to enroll at Capella University where I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in March of 2021. My passion for counseling started when I was very young. In my teenage years I participated in groups that worked to prevent teen suicide. This interest eventually worked its way into my adult life as a career in the mental health field. My first position after graduating with my Masters was assisting individuals whose substance abuse lead to involvement in the criminal justice system. Building on that, I also have experience with Veterans' issues, grief and loss, eating disorders, LGBTQ+, relationships, depression, anxiety, social fears and many other mental health diagnoses. I don’t believe that there is a one size fits all approach to an individual’s mental health. I use a wide range of techniques to best help my clients to achieve the goals they set forth during their time in treatment by developing strategies and coping skills to achieve optimal mental health.
