I’m a licensed mental health provider with five years of experience supporting individuals across outpatient, inpatient, hospital, and school settings. This diverse background allows me to understand the full spectrum of mental health needs and to adapt my approach to meet each client exactly where they are. My therapeutic style is direct but gentle. I believe in being honest and clear while still offering compassion, steadiness, and genuine care. My role is to help you navigate that process with support, curiosity, and even moments of humor. I value creating a space where you can show up authentically, feel understood, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are, without feeling like you have to have everything figured out. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, family expectations, life transitions, or simply feeling a little lost, I want to help you make sense of what's going on and find ways to move forward. My approach to therapy is person-centered, thoughtful, and exploratory. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-based techniques. I tailor my work to each individual, recognizing that everyone’s experiences and needs are different. I take a holistic view of mental health. This means we will look not only at your thoughts and emotions, but also at your environment, relationships, and daily routines. I believe these areas all play an important role in how we feel and function. I believe that healing emotional and mental health is not just about just one thing. Sometimes it's about working to heal important relationships. Sometimes it's about understanding the brain chemistry behind moods changes or repetitive thoughts. It might be about examining one's relationship to food or to mind-altering substances -or the internet. Most often it's about some combination of these, and other things. Similarly, I don't think that a therapy session should always take the same form. Sometimes a person just needs to talk and be listened to. But other times they need a more directive approach. They might need to explore some new ways to relax, or to learn skills to be able to observe their thoughts without falling into familiar patterns of self-defeat. We'll work to figure out what make the most sense for you at this time. Always, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change.

Hello, I am Shaqueena. Are you tired of being tired? Do you feel that no one understands your situation or that no one can relate? Are you unsure if therapy is right for you? If you are here, then that means that you are ready and motivated to make some changes in your life. Seeking help can sometimes be tough, which is why I believe that we all experience things in our life that goes beyond our ability to cope and when that happens we need a little more assistance. As a licensed professional counselor, my ultimate goal is to first normalize seeking assistance by decreasing the stigma on mental health. In doing so, my goal is to assist individuals in their healing process, to empower individuals to become the best version of themselves and to help individuals to see that life is completely what you make it. My preference for treatment is to utilize a trauma-informed approach in addition to CBT, EMDR and Choice/Reality Therapy.

I have been a practicing social worker for more than 30 years . Much of this experience has been working in a large public teaching hospital in Miami, Florida. The scope of service that the hospital provides is quite comprehensive which afforded me opportunities to work with a very diverse population . i have counseled patients and their families dealing with a variety of illnesses, both physical and mental health, survivors of sexual assault, and also providing counseling to patients in a correctional setting. I like challenging situations. My style of counseling is very eclectic, depends on the client and their unique set of problems. This can range from client centered, solution oriented or cognitive behavioral as many people are coming to therapy to learn new ways of thinking and alternative coping strategies. For the past two years, I have been involved in teletherapy providing psychotherapy to clients that are experiencing such problems as anxiety, depression, employment, relationship, and interpersonal difficulties. Also I have been providing counseling to teenagers dealing with the above issues and involving their parents when indicated.

I’m Crystal Scott, a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy should feel supportive, honest, practical, and deeply human. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families who may be navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, life transitions, low self-esteem, burnout, emotional overwhelm, or the feeling of being stuck in patterns they no longer want to repeat. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I combine evidence-based techniques with genuine conversation, reflection, encouragement, humor when appropriate, and practical tools that can be used in everyday life. I strive to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, respected, and safe enough to be honest about what is really going on. At the same time, I will gently challenge you to recognize patterns, strengthen boundaries, build confidence, improve communication, and make choices that better reflect the life you want to create. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to carrying everything on your own, being the strong one, or putting everyone else’s needs before your own. You do not have to arrive with the perfect words or a clear plan. We can slow things down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and identify realistic steps forward together. My ideal client is someone who is ready for support, insight, and meaningful change, even if they are unsure where to begin. Whether you are healing from a painful experience, adjusting to a major change, rebuilding trust, managing difficult emotions, or learning to reconnect with yourself, I will meet you with empathy, patience, authenticity, and respect. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and confident in your ability to move forward.

Anxiety, depression, and relationship issues are experiences that many of us encounter at various times in our lives. If you are feeling overwhelmed by negative emotions or believe you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or any combination of stressors affecting your peace of mind and relationships, "you don't have to keep feeling this way." You are not alone in your struggles, and you deserve to regain the peace of mind and joy that seem to elude you right now. "Let's find a way forward together - with compassion, clarity, and lasting change." My primary goal is to help you transition from merely feeling good to truly living well. Whether you are facing a specific crisis or a slow accumulation of challenges that has left you feeling unlike yourself, my clinical work offers a safe, judgment-free space to begin moving toward greater clarity and well-being. I draw on a carefully integrated blend of evidence-based frameworks, selecting and tailoring techniques based on each client's unique needs, history, and goals. My therapeutic approach combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Process-Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mind-body techniques. This approach is grounded in the belief that lasting change requires attending to the whole person — mind, body, and the relational world we inhabit. Through ACT, you will learn to be more psychologically present, connect with your values, and make space for life’s inevitable pain. You will also discover how to take actionable steps despite emotional discomfort and cultivate an appreciation for each moment in your life. While my specialty is brief therapy, some situations may require an extended therapeutic relationship, which can be beneficial for adults and parents dealing with complex mental health challenges and navigating difficult child-rearing adjustments at home.

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. It’s incredibly brave to reflect on your life and decide to make positive changes. Seeking support is often the first meaningful step forward. I have extensive experience working with first responders, healthcare professionals, correctional staff, and individuals navigating high-stress careers. Hi, I'm Ricardo. I'm a Hispanic man who's done my own work in therapy to figure out who I am and who I want to be—which is a big part of why I do this work today. I went into counseling field because I kept seeing people who felt unheard or misunderstood by the people around them, often carrying more than anyone realized. That's especially true for a lot of men and teenage boys I've worked with—individuals who feel like they're supposed to be strong, keep things to themselves, or handle things alone, but who rarely have a space to actually talk about what's underneath that. I grew up seeing some of those same pressures and unhealthy patterns around what it means to "be a man," and part of my work now is helping men and boys move away from those roles and into a healthier, more grounded version of who they are—as partners, providers, sons, and people. I especially enjoy working with teenage boys who are figuring out who they are, often at an age when it's hard to talk to the adults around them about what's really going on. I try to meet them where they are—not lecturing, not judging—so they actually want to keep showing up and talking. For parents: if your son is pulling away, shutting down, or you're just not sure how to reach him right now, that's exactly the kind of thing we can work through together. Outside of the therapy room, I'm endlessly curious—I love traveling, learning about different cultures, sports, and music (I play a bit of guitar). I think that mix of curiosity, care, and having done some of my own work is a lot of what I bring into the room with clients.

Hi, I'm so glad you're here. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to figure things out on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the need to have it all together. With over 14 years of experience, I work with adolescents, college students, and adults navigating anxiety, eating disorders, life transitions, identity, relationships, and the unique challenges that come with being an athlete. As an LGBTQ+ identifying therapist, I'm committed to creating an affirming, inclusive space where you feel seen, respected, and supported. I take a warm, collaborative, and holistic approach to therapy, blending evidence-based practices with an understanding of how our mental, emotional, and physical well-being are all connected. When it fits your goals, I also incorporate an integrative nutrition perspective to support your overall wellness. Outside the therapy room, you'll usually find me running, dancing, or horseback riding. As an athlete myself, I understand the highs, lows, and pressures that can come with performance, balance, and caring for both your mind and body. I believe therapy is about more than getting through hard moments—it's about building a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and sustainable. Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to walk it alone. I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

Alyssa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Therapist. She studied Behavioral Sciences in undergrad where she fell in love with learning about why people behave the way they do. She went on to receive her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at The University of Houston. Alyssa trained in acute mental healthcare, where she worked with patients to address a critical moment of their mental health in inpatient psychiatric care. From there she moved to outpatient care & individual therapy where she enjoys working with clients on meeting their long term goals & processing lingering issues that hold them back from reaching their full potential. Alyssa understands that it’s not the happy moments in life that bring people to therapy, but she firmly believes that true strength comes from rebuilding.
