I specialize in working with clients who are motived, courageous, and open to exploring their inner world. My goal is to help others achieve their goals. As a licensed clinical social worker, I offer a warm, grounded, and collaborative space where clients can slow down, reflect, and better understand themselves. My approach is person centered and trauma-informed, with a strong foundation in cognitive behavioral and strengths based therapies. Even if clients are not quite sure what that looks like. I help clients by navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, or life transitions. Most people are overwhelmed by pressure. What they tend to want most is clarity, peace, and to feel more connected. They're seeking safe, nonjudgmental space where they can explore their thoughts freely and begin to moe toward a life that feels more aligned and intentional.
Clients can expect to feel heard and accepted. Clients will be supported and helped by navigating their current struggles.
My therapeutic methods are research based and proven to work over time.
I am best positioned to serve those who are willing to be open minded about the process of therapy.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use this theory by teaching my clients ACT skills. This is a cognitive behavioral therapy worksheet that can be filled out by them which helps them identify specific situations that may trigger feelings.

I heard about zocdoc over YouTube and needed to try something new for my health. They brought me to grow and I found Amanda through them. She seemed very knowledgeable and happy to work with me to find solutions for my over thinking. We have a follow up set up and I'm feeling hopeful about it.

I had my first session with Amanda and am so excited to get started with therapy. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease and worked with me to form a treatment plan catered to my needs. I didn't feel rushed and felt like she listened to all that i told her and used that to formulate the best plan for me.
