I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 16 years of experience. One of my main focus has been trauma and Infant Mental Health, providing dyadic treatment to families. I am a trauma informed clinician with an attachment based lens. I utilize CBT in my practice and I identify as a relational therapist. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Motivational Interviewing (MI), these are all evidence based treatments.
Hello, I’m Jennifer Mendoza, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in child, adolescent, and family mental health based in Northern California. Over the past 13 years, I have provided psychotherapy and clinical supervision across a wide range of community and clinical settings. My work has focused on comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children, teens, and families, as well as supporting young professionals and adults navigating life transitions.
Much of my professional experience has been rooted in community-based mental health, where I have served as both a therapist and clinical supervisor in child and youth-focused programs. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and culturally responsive, integrating person-centered practices that honor each client’s unique strengths and experiences.
In addition to my community work, I have also provided therapy in group private practice settings and most recently served as a mental health therapist at LPCH Stanford Child and Adolescent Psychiatry’s Mood Disorders Clinic, where I supported youth and families coping with complex mood and anxiety disorders.
I approach therapy with warmth, honesty, and compassion. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported enough to explore difficult experiences while also feeling gently challenged to grow. I care deeply about creating a therapeutic relationship where people feel respected, understood, and able to approach difficult parts of their lives with curiosity rather than judgment.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy paddle boarding in the summer, long conversations with loved ones over a leisurely meal, and just about anything related to musical theater. I’m also a big fan of ceramics and afternoon naps—two things that help me stay grounded and appreciate small moments of creativity and rest.

Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for over 20 years having worked in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health, schools, substance abuse, and private practice in both CA and TX. I work with adults to (re)gain a healthy sense of self, improve emotional and functional well-being, and build healthy relationships. My approach is guided by years of clinical training and experiential knowledge, systems thinking, relational connection, and spiritual awareness, helping clients explore the emotional and existential patterns shaping their lives so change is both effective and meaningful.
Are you struggling with overwhelming worries, feeling weighed down by the heaviness of depression, or feeling unable to move past painful life experiences? I provide a safe, compassionate space that offers the support necessary to heal, overcome obstacles, and reconnect with a meaningful life. With interest and empathy, I honor clients' life experiences and their values. I'm driven by curiosity and a strong drive to make meaningful connections with people, and I believe that feeling understood and accepted is an important part of the therapeutic process. I strive to bring openness, authenticity, and compassion to the therapeutic relationship and to meet each client where they are.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who helps adults heal from anxiety, trauma, burnout, and painful relationship patterns using EMDR therapy and a mind-body approach. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck in cycles of self-doubt, overwhelm, or disconnection, appearing “fine” on the outside while feeling anything but on the inside. My goal is to create a safe, grounding space where you can explore what’s beneath the surface, release what’s been weighing you down, and reconnect with the most authentic version of yourself.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is at the heart of my work. It’s an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity. Through gentle bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping), the mind can integrate painful experiences in a more adaptive way. Clients often describe EMDR as life-changing- it allows healing to occur on a deeper, neurological level, often when talk therapy alone hasn’t been enough. My style is collaborative, intuitive, and compassionate. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, while gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you. Together, we’ll help you feel safe in your body, clear in your mind, and at peace within yourself.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles. I received my Masters from the University of Southern California (USC). Hi, I’m Norma Elia Luna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the therapist behind Sol de Luna Therapy. I provide warm, collaborative, trauma-informed therapy that integrates attachment-focused and somatic perspectives. I believe the patterns we struggle with often make more sense when we understand what they have been trying to protect us from. In our work, we may explore how past experiences, relationships, emotions, and nervous system responses continue to shape the way you experience yourself and the people around you today. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with your own needs and strengths, and develop new ways of responding that feel more aligned with the life and relationships you want.

You might feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, anxiety, or relationship stress that are hard to turn off. Even when things look fine on the outside, it can feel exhausting trying to manage everything internally.

I integrate trauma informed care and parts work to help you build self-trust, set boundaries, and move through challenges with more clarity and confidence.
As a therapist, I work with my patients to establish a foundation of mindfulness. We begin here to increase awareness and reduce judgements of the self and others. I provide clear action steps after session to facilitate and foster a culture of implementation of skills and topics covered in sessions. After all, this is your life! Who know's it better than you.

Hi, I’m Lois, Mother of 3 amazing boys, business owner and lover of life. I have learned so much through my years of working with clients individually, in groups and with families and couples. What I have learned is that as humans we are resilient! We have been given this life to have joy and life lessons. I have been honored to guide and encourage many clients over the last 20 years. It is my life purpose to help others especially when they cannot see the abundance and joy that is around us. I use many different modalities to guide clients on their journey. One of my main modalities is EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) which are both very effective healing modalities. I'm always excited to learn new techniques and offer a variety of modalities to assist my clients in their healing journey. I also use short-term solution-focused therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness among others to bring about change.
I truly believe as a therapist I must do my own work, for I cannot take you to a place that I have not visited. I have done many years of my own therapy, attended healing retreats, participated in group therapy and attended 12 step meetings, writing and lots of self care!
I specialize in helping adults recover from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), chronic anxiety, and the lasting effects of complex trauma. My approach is active, collaborative, and recovery-focused. My goal is not simply to help you feel better during our sessions, but to help you build the skills and confidence to live your life with greater freedom outside of therapy.
For clients struggling with OCD and anxiety, I use evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to help reduce fear, break unhelpful patterns, and develop lasting resilience.
Therapy with me is an active process. Together we'll identify meaningful goals, practice practical skills, and take manageable steps toward lasting change. Recovery takes courage and commitment, but healing is possible. My role is to provide guidance, support, and evidence-based tools while empowering you to become increasingly confident in your ability to navigate life's challenges.
If you're ready to do the work of recovery and build a life that feels bigger than anxiety, fear, or past experiences, I'd be honored to work with you.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional challenges, life transitions, and experiences that can leave us feeling stuck. I bring both professional and life experience to my work and strive to create a space that feels comfortable, genuine, and free of judgment. My approach is collaborative and practical, and I tailor therapy to each person rather than expecting everyone to fit into the same approach. I am trained in EMDR and also incorporate CBT, DBT, solution-focused strategies, and trauma-informed care based on each client's needs. I value helping people better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
I approach our first session with wanting to know what prompted you to book the session. This is because people usually book a therapy session with an issue in mind, or with a problem to solve. I assure you that if you are motivated to change your mindset and ready to work on yourself, that you will be able to feel more peaceful and calm with just one session, and you will leave knowing that you will be able to solve what is going on.
We tend to be harsh and critical of ourselves thinking that will promote change when that only causes us to procrastinate and feel depression and anxiety. To address this I offer you my book endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on self-forgiveness- find it on Amazon and in Barnes & Noble, "The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness."
I offer you my podcast- "All Things Therapy," which can be found on iTunes and Spotify. It is a mental health and wellness-focused podcast with over 425 episodes related to mental health, fitness, and personal transformation for you to dig into. I intend that the show augments therapy and gives you a resource to look for topics you are facing in the show titles and then listen and apply what is offered and see how that changes things for you.
