Welcome to Dr. Mitchell’s Safe and Brave Space
I began my career in social services in 1995, working with children, youth, and families often labeled as “at-risk”—many of whom were impacted by substance use, poverty, child abuse, and neglect. Over time, my commitment to equity and justice led me to the field of social work, where I continue to center the person-in-environment perspective and actively support antiracist policies, ideas, and actions.
This work is grounded in an acknowledgment that we live and practice on the stolen lands of Indigenous peoples, and that much of the wealth and infrastructure of this nation was built through the unpaid labor and enduring suffering of enslaved Africans. I honor these histories and their ongoing impact as part of my commitment to justice, healing, and collective liberation.
I am deeply committed to self-awareness and reflective practice, both personally and with those I serve. I walk alongside clients on a healing journey rooted in self-care, resilience, and transformation.
I integrate narrative therapy and other evidence-informed approaches through the lens of intersectionality to remain fully person-centered. My practice pays particular attention to the impacts of trauma and race-based stress on one’s inner world. As appropriate, I incorporate Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, and Liberation Psychology to support healing that honors identity, lived experience, and systemic context.
I welcome all who value peace, healing, and justice to join me in this space—to try, to grow, and to be.

I am a straight-forward but empathic therapist, who also appreciates the same from her clients. Although I have a doctorate degree, my scope of practice does not fall under psychological testing, pharmacological practices, nor community services. Hi, my name is Jamie. You may be wondering how therapy can help, whether it can make a difference, or if there is a path forward from where you are right now. These are very common and understandable questions.
I want to offer encouragement and hope—not as a promise of quick answers, but as an assurance that growth and healing are possible. Over 30 years ago, I began my own therapeutic journey, first with a pastoral counselor and later with a licensed therapist. That experience shaped my belief in therapy as a powerful tool for healing, insight, and meaningful change.
My priority is to create a warm, compassionate, and emotionally safe space for you to explore the hard things in life—things that may have happened to you, and sometimes things you wish had gone differently. Therapy can be a place to get unstuck, reduce overwhelm, and work toward greater well-being. We will collaborate on goals that matter to you and use practical, tools in navigating anxiety, depression, and life’s challenges.
My work is informed by contemporary psychodynamic theory, attachment research, and other evidence-based approaches. I practice from a strengths-based, person-centered perspective integrating cognitive and behavioral strategies when helpful. I come from a Christian worldview, and I strive to approach therapy with respect, humility, and sensitivity to each client’s values and beliefs.
Together, we may work to reduce distress, increase self-awareness, build coping and regulation skills, support meaningful behavior change, and foster growth that goes beyond symptom relief. Decades of research show that healing and change occur through supportive relationships, increased understanding, and practices that build resilience. Therapy can be a catalyst for that process.

Welcome. My name is Dr. Rezi Davis, PhD, LPCC. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the State of California and hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology degree. My professional practice is guided by my counseling license and the ethical standards established for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors.
I have more than 20 years of experience working in the mental health field, providing services to individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and person-centered. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered to work toward meaningful change.
I draw from evidence-based treatment approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while tailoring treatment to each individual's unique needs, strengths, and goals. My role is to support you in exploring concerns, developing coping skills, increasing insight, and working toward improved emotional well-being and personal growth.
Please note that while I hold a doctoral degree and use the title "Dr.," I provide services as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and am not a physician or licensed psychologist. If you have any questions regarding my qualifications, professional background, or the counseling process, I welcome the opportunity to discuss them with you.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by everyday stressors or navigating more complex mental health challenges, you do not have to face them alone. Thank you for taking the important step of seeking support. I am honored to accompany you on your journey toward healing, growth, and recovery. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to address your concerns and build on your strengths.

Hi, I’m Kristine Asatryan, LCSW.
Life can be overwhelming at times, and it takes courage to reach out for support. My goal as a therapist is to help you reconnect with your inner strength, find balance, and create a more peaceful, fulfilling life.
My philosophy is simple: yesterday is gone, today is what matters, and tomorrow is out of our control. I help my clients focus on the present moment, build self-awareness, and make meaningful changes that lead to lasting growth.
I strive to provide a warm, compassionate space where you feel safe to explore your emotions and challenges without judgment. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship stress, trauma, or simply feeling lost, therapy can be a powerful path toward healing and clarity.
As a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, I understand the importance of human connection and the many roles we juggle in life. My approach blends empathy, mindfulness, and cultural sensitivity with practical tools for emotional wellness.
My work is guided by the values of respect, kindness, love, family, service, and integrity — the same principles that shape who I am both personally and professionally.
If you’re ready to rediscover your confidence, calm, and purpose, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Please note: Sessions are scheduled on the hour (e.g., 3:00 PM), not on the half-hour (e.g., 3:30 PM). Thank you for your understanding as we improve our scheduling system.
