I provide therapeutic support to individuals navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. My work includes supporting clients who experience relationship difficulties, fluctuating moods, anxiety symptoms, depression, family conflict, parenting concerns, grief and loss, and various life stressors. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their experiences, identify barriers to emotional wellness, and develop healthier coping strategies. I work collaboratively with clients to build insight, strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication skills, and foster healthier relationships with themselves and others. Many of the individuals I support are working through transitions, personal struggles, or ongoing stressors that impact their daily functioning, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Therapy focuses on helping clients gain clarity, increase resilience, and develop practical tools to manage challenges while working toward meaningful personal growth and emotional stability. In addition to working with adults, I have experience supporting adolescents who face behavioral concerns, low self-esteem, anxiety, and friendship or relationship challenges. Adolescence can be a complex stage of development, and I work to help youth better understand their emotions, build confidence, strengthen social and communication skills, and develop healthier ways to cope with stress and interpersonal difficulties. I also collaborate with families when appropriate to support stronger relationships, improve understanding, and promote positive behavioral and emotional outcomes. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and individualized, recognizing that every client’s experiences and goals are unique. I am committed to helping clients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they navigate challenges and work toward healing, balance, and improved quality of life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
It is structured, goal-oriented, and typically short-term, with a focus on teaching clients practical skills to improve their mental health. CBT is based on the concept that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. The central idea is that by changing negative or distorted thought patterns (cognitive distortions), we can alter the emotional and behavioral responses that result from them.

Marylune makes you feel comfortable and heard. If I am having a bad day by the end of the session I always feel much better than I was before the session.

Marylune came recommended to me and I was working with her through Modern Health. I feel she understands and is sympathetic to my needs and so I continue to work with her.
