You don't have to navigate life's hardest moments alone. I'm Emilee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering telehealth therapy to adults across the Bay Area and California. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, and major life transitions. Including adults who are healing from narcissistic abuse, emotional abuse, and toxic or antagonistic relationships. I have a deep understanding of the lasting impact these experiences can have, including the self-doubt, people-pleasing patterns, and loss of identity that often follow.
With 10 years of clinical experience, I've worked with clients ranging from young children to adults in their 80s, across home, school, outpatient, and hospital-based settings, with individuals, couples, and families. This range gives me a unique ability to understand where you're coming from, whether you're transitioning into early adulthood, navigating relational difficulties, becoming a parent for the first time, caregiving for aging parents, or managing your own aging process.
I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not a performance. I show up warm, direct, and collaborative, not just a clinician with a checklist. And I make it my mission that when you leave a session with me, you feel a little more connected.
If you've been thinking about reaching out, I'm glad you're here. Let's figure it out together.

I offer a space where you can share what’s on your mind, build coping skills, set healthy boundaries, and explore practical solutions at your own pace. Together, we’ll uncover insights and make meaningful changes so you can feel more peace, confidence, and joy in your everyday life.
I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Jennifer Yates, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field and 17 years as a licensed clinician. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling, and I’ve been trained in five evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel truly seen, respected, and met exactly where they are—without pressure or judgment. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where you can show up as your authentic self. While my work is grounded in evidence-based practices, I also take a holistic approach, recognizing the connection between mind, body, emotions, relationships, and life experiences.
I bring not only clinical expertise, but also genuine compassion, relatability, and an appropriate sense of humor into the therapy space. Healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy, and moments of lightness can be an important part of growth. My passion is to walk alongside you as a guide and support—helping you build insight, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Hi, I am a trauma consultant who graduated from the University of Southern California, with years of culturally diverse EMDR therapy experience since 2011.
My expertise is to tailor research-supported EMDR therapy with highly successful expat, AAPI professionals (e.g. Journalists, Actors, Scientists, Corporate Leaders, Producers, First Responders) who experience a Medical Related Trauma, Fear of Flying, Stage Fright, Phobia, Unprocessed Grief, car accidents, wild fires, War Trauma or Cultural Issues.
I received my trauma training at the National Center for PTSD and the EMDR Trauma Recovery Humanitarian Assistance Program.
In our society, we overlook the necessity of trauma work for our highly successful leaders. Many of my clients come to me are specifically looking for EMDR therapy to resolve barriers so they can be a better leader and find a better work-life balance. Others come to me for EMDR therapy after they tried talk therapy for years and didn’t see the progress they hope for.
I was born in Managua, Nicaragua but moved to the United States at a young age. I can say that I’ve learned to appreciate, value, and grow from every experience given in life. Good or bad experiences can potentially shape who we are. They can impact our view and perspective about life, and make us stronger to overcome challenges we face throughout our journey or disable us temporarily, making the journey less enjoyable and pleasing.
I always had a strong desire to help others. I found in Psychology and Therapy a good option to provide others the needed tools to move forward, so they can find within them the strength to push toward a better and more productive lifestyle. I view therapy as a safe place to explore relationships, whether those relationships are with people (family, co-workers, partner) or things (food, money, alcohol). I also feel an important part of therapy is addressing the social, economic, and cultural influences on a person.
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, balance, and self-compassion. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, blending evidence-based methods with a compassionate, client-centered style. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can gain insight, build practical coping skills, and foster lasting emotional well-being. I’m a warm, trauma-informed therapist who helps clients navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, and relationship challenges. I blend practical tools with deeper exploration of patterns shaped by past experiences. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space for growth and healing.
