I’ve always been curious about people—why we feel the way we do, how our relationships shape us, and what helps us through difficult times. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural extension of that curiosity. Over the years, my own life experiences have deepened the way I understand this work and taught me that sometimes people don’t need to be “fixed”—they need a place where they can feel understood, make sense of what they’re carrying, and reconnect with themselves.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been working with adults for nearly 20 years. I work with anxiety, grief, relationships, caregiving, and the transitions and experiences that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from ourselves.
I believe a lot of therapy is about becoming curious about ourselves. Understanding why we respond the way we do, where certain patterns came from, and what we may need now that we didn’t have or know how to ask for before. My hope is to create a space where you can be honest about what you’re feeling, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to trust yourself in a different way.
Great to meet you!
I'm Amanda of HeartTalk Christian Counseling.
Have you been struggling to keep your head above water, worried that somehow you will miss something? Have you been feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, and anxious?
I have been working with individual clients for the last twelve years to create a safe and positive space to work through life’s difficulties, understand important issues, learn new and effective coping skills, and develop full relationships to lead a more authentic life. I believe in working together to help you create attainable treatment goals and explore areas of growth. In our sessions together, I will bring my experience, compassion, and evidenced-based techniques so that you can overcome the things that have been holding you back from thriving.
Hi there, I'm Liz.
Feeling overwhelmed by life and searching for meaning? Are you struggling to be fully present in your relationships and other areas of your life because you're living in survival mode?
Using a mindfulness approach, I help people shift away from coping mechanisms that prevent them from connecting fully to themselves and their lives. Let's work together to identify what's not working and find the balance you're looking for. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. Several therapeutic approaches are incorporated, including guided imagery and breathwork.
Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!
Welcome! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, who believes change begins with feeling truly seen and supported. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. Sometimes we dig deep into feelings to understand and learn from the past - always with self-compassion and gentleness at your pace.
My hope is always to empower individuals and couples in their own strengths, and identify healthy and unhealthy patterns of learned communication and connection that impact intimacy, anxiety, worry, codependency, and perfectionism. Together, we learn and practice ways to create healthier relationships with a felt-sense of safety, equity, respect, trust, and love.
I believe our body and mind work together, so we will explore thoughts, feelings, and body sensations to uncover what is inside, waiting to be expressed and healed. We give life back to our authentic and true selves.
Therapy can be a bit scary and overwhelming if you've never experienced it before. I am committed to creating a safe, empathic, and non-judgmental space for you to practice being true to your own personality, values, and spirit.
I look forward to our working together!

Mr. Briceño is a therapist who values depth, presence, and intentionality in his work. He was drawn to this field through a desire to better understand himself and support his immediate family through difficult experiences, and that curiosity continues to guide how he practices today.
His professional journey has included working with individuals across the lifespan and life circumstances from ages 4-106. This has shaped his respect for resilience and the complexity of human experience. Those experiences reinforced his belief that therapy is most effective when it is grounded in empathy, reflection, and genuine human connection.
He approaches this work thoughtfully and with care. Is intentional about how he shows up with clients, prioritizing presence and understanding over labels or quick solutions. He values honest conversation, self-awareness, and creating spaces for people to explore their experiences in a way that feels grounded and respectful.
At his core, therapy is about understanding—understanding ourselves, our patterns, and what matters most to us. Supporting that process, and witnessing growth that comes from clarity and insight, is what continues to motivate him in this work.

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) currently based and practicing in Oregon, though with an active license in California as well. I attended California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) for graduate school and lived in the Bay Area for a decade before moving to Portland, OR shortly before the pandemic. I have over thirteen years of experience as a "generalist" therapist, though I specialize in supporting individuals in the midst of life transitions, including but not limited to: relationship challenges, moves to a new city or state, new or chronic medical diagnoses, career and work problems, spiritual questioning, transitions into the workforce or retirement. I do NOT work with couples at this time. While I consider the psychological theories behind my work, I hold them lightly in the room, believing most fundamentally in the importance of an adaptive, culturally-sensitive, non-judgmental stance with my clients.
PLEASE NOTE: your chosen intake appointment time is subject to my final approval based on my shifting availability. I see clients on multiple platforms and am unable to sync all of my calendars in real time. Following the initial appointment, we will find a mutually agreeable meeting time and I will manage the booking on the Grow platform going forward, including rescheduling and cancellations. You will need to message me directly to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I request the courtesy of as much advanced notice as possible. I am not able to work with clients who cancel without 24 hrs advanced notice or no show more than twice.

You and I can work together instead, as I may be the expert in psychology, but you are the expert of your own life. You will be encouraged to use your own strengths to push through the hurdles and you can expect warmth from me throughout this process.

Hi! I’m Dr. Kelly Horton, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience helping people reach their goals related to greater peace, healthier relationships, self-understanding, emotional balance, and personal growth. My journey into psychology and the field of therapy began with curiosity about the “whys” of human behavior—why people respond the way they do, what helps some people become resilient, and how healing relationships are built after trauma or dysfunction.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward? I work with adults and couples who are seeking greater clarity, connection, improved communication, and emotional balance. Whether you are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, trauma, or patterns that no longer feel sustainable, therapy can offer a supportive space to better understand yourself and your relationships.

I’m passionate about helping clients understand themselves more deeply, strengthen connection, and break cycles that no longer serve them.
I use a client centered approach in therapy sessions. I am here to listen to your words and be understanding, I will also provide feedback as needed. You can count on a nonjudgmental, safe and confidential space. It has been a privilege to work with adults, families, and children. I help people to feel better and live with more bliss. I am also experienced and supportive of LGBTQ+ issues.
Reaching out for help can be a very vulnerable experience, but also a great attribute of strength and resilience. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma in their life. Whether it's from childhood neglect, sexual assault, natural disaster, sudden death or other life circumstances. Trauma often creates patterns and loops that extend into many areas of a person's life, and can be challenging and painful to navigate. Sometimes the way people survive their trauma brings them more pain, adds to the chaos, and reinforces negative beliefs that perpetuate the cycle. I work to empower clients to understand and alter unhealthy cycles to strengthen and better their lives.
I am fluent in ASL American Sign Language and have worked with Deaf clients leaving domestic violence in both a shelter and outpatient therapy services. I have spent 2 years in correctional settings working with severely mentally ill patients and supporting their family members navigating having children with mental illness. Note that online scheduling is limited. Broader scheduling options will be available to regularly scheduling clients. Please also note that I do not provide opinions about disability or fitness to return to work or other activities for clients who are not well-established at the time that the request for such opinion is made.
My career has enabled me to work with a variety of populations in the mental health field. My work is rewarding and feels more like a calling than a job. My goal is to provide my clients support and provide a safe space for them to express themselves. I listen and I care. Together we collaborate to create an individualized treatment plan to address your specific concerns. I make myself available, I’m flexible, and I am invested in your growth.
