Hello! I am an LMFT in California specializing in Trauma, Narcissistic Abuse, Coercive Control, and Religious Trauma. I received my masters from LCU in 2018 and have been practicing for 7 years. I help people effectively process their trauma while giving them coping skills and education to heal and surpass what holds them back. I'm an expert in people. You're the expert on you. In working collaboratively with each other, I think we can accomplish a lot.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I will go over your paperwork and assessments with you. I'll ask about your goals for therapy, what you believe is holding you back from reaching those goals, and just generally get to know each other.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in various settings with various severities of trauma, I can confidently say that I have crafted an approach that makes a connection with my clients almost instantly that makes them feel comfortable and safe. I am able to insert myself into your paradigm so that we can work collaboratively to accomplish your goals.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with those who have suffered abuse, religious trauma, deconstruction, and coercive control. Many of my clients often are at the start of their healing journey or have been around therapy spaces for some time. My clients often feel alone, anxious, and depressed about things that have happened and need help processing through difficult situations and emotions.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

You are unique. It only makes sense that therapy would be tailor-made for you and your unique intersections and paradigm. I think of attachment-based, psychodynamic, narrative, and person-centered therapies as a foundation that we can start with; After that we can explore your unique needs and how I can help you on your journey.

EMDR

As a trauma specialist, I like to get to the root of things so that we can address them in a way that is efficient and effective with as little discomfort to you as possible. EMDR allows us to reprocess trauma in a way that talk therapy cannot. If you're curious about EMDR, I am always happy to talk about it and how it might benefit you.
