LMFT, 16 years of experience
My goal is to increase self compassion and compassion for others as individual women navigate their personal, academic and professional lives. I am taking individual female clients over the age of 18 for virtual sessions throughout the state of California. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, comedy, theatre, filmmaking, creative writing, improvisation, nature, traveling, film and television, documentaries, dancing and making art of all kinds. I graduated from the High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas. In college, I studied theatre, documentary film and creative writing. I have a BA from Columbia College Chicago. While in Chicago, I was on the faculty at the Second City Training Center where I directed and co-wrote original sketch comedy revues and taught acting and improvisation to children, teens and adults. I received my master's in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. I am currently based in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.

At this time, I am only taking individual female clients over the age of 18.

My goal is to increase self compassion and compassion for others as individual women over 18 navigate their personal, academic and professional lives. If you are a woman navigating the relentless demands of modern life, transitions, grief, burnout, family conflict, inner turmoil, marital issues, isolation, loneliness, divorce, job stress—you’re not alone. I specialize in working with women because I understand the pressures that women juggle personally and professionally as they do their best to hold it all together. I am here to support you with compassion, without judgment, to accept you as you are in this moment, to help you cultivate self compassion as you advocate for your own wants, needs, thoughts, ideas, opinions and beliefs. So many women abandon themselves as they over give to everyone around them. I am here to help you realize that you matter, to encourage you to move yourself and your well being to the top of your priority list. I will be honest, authentic and real. I meet you exactly where you are. I will walk beside you with support, empathy, validation, encouragement and a healthy sense of humor.

She was very open to listening. Shared her vision of our plan for solutions. She was very engaging, creating a moment of free flowing conversation. Which I appreciated.

Right off the bat Sarah had me feeling very comfortable with her. I opened up about a lot and she’s helped me feel supported and confident to keep up the work I’m doing on my mental health. Very professional I leave the sessions feeling refreshed. 👍
