Compassion Focused
My goal is to increase self compassion and compassion for others as individual women over 18 navigate their personal, academic and professional lives. If you are a woman navigating the relentless demands of modern life, transitions, grief, burnout, family conflict, inner turmoil, marital issues, isolation, loneliness, divorce, job stress—you’re not alone. I specialize in working with women because I understand the pressures that women juggle personally and professionally as they do their best to hold it all together. I am here to support you with compassion, without judgment, to accept you as you are in this moment, to help you cultivate self compassion as you advocate for your own wants, needs, thoughts, ideas, opinions and beliefs. So many women abandon themselves as they over give to everyone around them. I am here to help you realize that you matter, to encourage you to move yourself and your well being to the top of your priority list. I will be honest, authentic and real. I meet you exactly where you are. I will walk beside you with support, empathy, validation, encouragement and a healthy sense of humor.

Sarah truly cares and listens. She inspires me and motivates me to take chances. My life has changed in many positive ways because of her. It’s also helpful that I found a therapist who I can relate to, and I know that she understands how I feel.

She was very open to listening. Shared her vision of our plan for solutions. She was very engaging, creating a moment of free flowing conversation. Which I appreciated.

Right off the bat Sarah had me feeling very comfortable with her. I opened up about a lot and she’s helped me feel supported and confident to keep up the work I’m doing on my mental health. Very professional I leave the sessions feeling refreshed. 👍
