LMFT
Hi, I'm Hazel. I'm a bilingual Asian mental health therapist fluent in both Vietnamese and English, dedicated to supporting neurodiverse adults, including those with ASD, ADHD, and co-occurring conditions. I am deeply passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals and understanding the unique challenges they face, such as low self-esteem, mood regulation difficulties, relationship struggles, loneliness, stress, executive dysfunction, and rejection-sensitive dysphoria (RSD). I strive to provide a supportive, affirming space where clients can explore these challenges and develop strategies for growth and healing. In addition, I have extensive experience working in hospice care, which has given me valuable insight into the complex emotions surrounding grief, loss, and mourning. I am increasingly focusing on helping clients process these profound experiences, providing comfort and guidance through their journeys of healing and acceptance. Having endured my own share of trauma throughout my life—including experiences with sudden death, betrayal, and resentment—I bring a deep sense of empathy and understanding to my work. With a holistic approach to treatment and an awareness of cultural nuances, I aim to create a safe, compassionate environment where my clients feel seen and supported. My overarching goal is to empower individuals to navigate their challenges, foster resilience, and promote overall well-being. I am committed to breaking down barriers to mental health care and walking alongside my clients through life’s many transitions with sensitivity and care.
In our initial session, we will either review the completed intake form or work through it together. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and share their therapeutic goals. As needed, I will provide homework assignments or resources to support their progress.
As your therapist, I specialize in helping adults navigate life's complexities, drawing from my extensive expertise. I bring a unique perspective through my deep understanding of therapy and my diverse interests in travel, food, business, and education. These passions allow me to connect with you on a personal level and incorporate real-life experiences into our work together. I believe in the healing power of humor and creativity, often infusing our sessions with a lighthearted approach. Together, we'll explore innovative strategies to overcome challenges and foster a path toward a more fulfilling life. With my support, you'll uncover your resilience and unlock your potential to thrive.
I specialize in serving adults dealing with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), as well as grief, loss, and bereavement. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking answers related to their trauma, challenges, behaviors, and emotions. They are eager to learn, grow, and develop greater self-awareness through the therapeutic process.
As a therapist, I believe in the diversity of problem-solving approaches. I incorporate various treatment modalities to explore and discover the one(s) that best fit each client's needs. For instance, I often utilize Attachment-Based therapy. I firmly believe that attachment patterns formed in early childhood significantly influence an individual's relationships and emotional wellness throughout their lives. Guiding clients in transitioning from insecure to secure attachment styles has been an immensely healing and transformative journey for many of those I have worked with.

Hazel was down to earth, authentic and easy to relate to. Although it was just our first session she was able to give me some strategies to try that I am grateful for. She shared experiences about her background which helped me relate to her. Thank you, Hazel

Very much an acquired taste when looking for a therapist. She is very knowledgeable and relatable to subjects I bring up and want to work on.
